Three days. Twelve classes. And lots of EQ FUN! This past weekend we had a blast with students from all over the US and Canada at EQ Academy in Perrysburg, Ohio. Thank you to all our students for spending this beautiful fall weekend learning with us. We love sharing new EQ skills with everyone and seeing the creative designs you all make with the software. We hope you returned home feeling inspired to try out all those quilt ideas that have been bouncing around in your heads! A big thank you to our amazing teachers too who always do such a great job! Spring was certainly blossoming last week in Perrysburg, Ohio as we witnessed a new group of students (and some returnees) growing in their understanding of EQ8 during our 3-day EQ Academy! There were 62 students in attendance from all over the United States and even Canada! Some students were taught the beginning skills of using EQ8, while others honed their block-drawing and quilt-design talents! In different classes students also learned how to import their fabric stash, were taught the best practices for designing t-shirt quilts, and expanded their ideas for how to use borders! Overall, lots was learned, fun was had, and great relationships were formed! We can’t thank everyone enough who attended, including our awesome teachers! After a year-and-a-half away, it was so fantastic to get back to in-person classes at EQ Academy! We have missed seeing these wonderful faces and loved getting to share new EQ skills with you all.
