After a year-and-a-half away, it was so fantastic to get back to in-person classes at EQ Academy! We have missed seeing these wonderful faces and loved getting to share new EQ skills with you all. Thank you to our amazing teachers who always do such a great job!
And a special thanks to all our students for coming! We hope to see you all back for our Spring EQ Academy! We’ll have beginner classes as always, and some fun, topical classes too. If you enjoyed your time at EQ Academy, tell us in the comments below!

Thoroughly enjoyed my EQ classes. Instructors and those helping were outstanding. Wish we had more time, so much to grasp. I will hold them to “call and we’ll help”. Hopefully, I retained most of what I learned. Well-structured lessons and handouts were excellent. I can understand how Zoom classes would be difficult because we did hands-on throughout the lessons. The large screens were also important to be able to follow the instructors. A suggestion is to dim the room lights so the screens are more vibrant. Thank you for a good three days!

This was a fantastic, energetic, & fun experience learning the EQ8 software. I took the 2-day beginner’s class with Lori Miller & the importing fabrics into EQ8 with Sara Seuberling. I couldn’t have asked for better instructors. They really wanted you to learn & were so helpful. Handouts were excellent & will continue to be great resources. The days went so fast. I would highly recommend signing up for these classes. Thanks to the sponsors who provided the give-a-ways. I won the fabric basket. EQ8 will definitely help me plan out how to use it. Thanks to EQ8 for having these in-person classes.

It’s great that the Academy could be held in-person on a limited basis this year! Looks like everyone had fun and learned a lot. Can we get an Academy via Zoom or other video/teleconference method, pandemic or not? Hold the in-person one as well as offer a video/teleconference version. That would be fantastic!!! I know I can get much more use out of EQ. The class titles this year made me want to learn the those skills, but alas I was unable to attend in-person.

I would love to attend the Spring class. In the meantime (or in addition to…) have you considered doing any Zoom classes so that we can still learn but have access to some great instructors in real time. From some of the other comments, it sounds like there’s a lot of interest in doing Zoom!!! Thank you!!!!
