Three days. Twelve classes. And lots of EQ FUN! This past weekend we had a blast with students from all over the US and Canada at EQ Academy in Perrysburg, Ohio.
Thank you to all our students for spending this beautiful fall weekend learning with us. We love sharing new EQ skills with everyone and seeing the creative designs you all make with the software. We hope you returned home feeling inspired to try out all those quilt ideas that have been bouncing around in your heads!
A big thank you to our amazing teachers too who always do such a great job! Along with the EQ staff teachers, it was wonderful to have Lori Miller and Cheryl Brickey back with us to share their EQ expertise!
If you’re interested in coming to a future EQ Academy, sign up for our e-mails to be notified of enrollment. Spring EQ Academy is scheduled for March 30 – April 1, 2023 and we plan to open enrollment sometime in January 2023. Watch for details via email and the EQ Classes website. Spread the word to your EQ friends, family, and guild members!

I was pleasantly surprised – after the first day of the 2 day beginner’s class, I could have left happy with what I learned. Very professionally run – as soon as someone indicated they were having a problem, one of the assistants were there to help. Highly recommend.

One of the most common comments I heard in the beginning class was along the lines of that we learned so much day 1 that had they stopped there we would have been happy. After Day 2 we were ecstatic Highly recommend this class, especially for those like me who purchased the program and just couldn’t figure out how to start. Classes were very professionally run with oodles of support. As soon as one of the support people noticed someone had a problem they were there to assist.
One day I’ll take one of the more advanced classes.

Hi Diane,
If you’re looking for a local class, it’s best to contact your area quilt shops and ask if they offer any EQ8 classes. We are usually only aware of the EQ8 classes held at major quilt shows, like Quilt Festival in Houston, and the AQS QuiltWeek shows. But there are many EQ8 teachers across the country teaching at quilt shops.
