August 2011 Challenge

Create an art quilt or a traditional design to illustrate a landscape of any kind. Piecing and/or appliqué are allowed! This challenge might be for drawing, using Layer 2, coloring a pieced background, using a different layout style or Custom Set for various backgrounds, or anything else that takes your fancy. Combine a photo with piecing (IF the photo does not make the project file size too large). Keep the size of your project file to a max of 1 MB.
