Top of my bucket list is to visit the land of my forefathers and see for myself Ireland’s spectacular vistas. Until then, I’ll just have to enjoy them this way!
An imported photo was used for tracing to create the many patches I needed for all those shades of green Add Shades and Tints was used to expand the Sketchbook Color choices.
Construction would be much like a crazy patch quilt with decorative stitches and/or ribbons & trims along the seams of the patches representing the delineations between the fields. Appliqué motifs of houses and stands of trees would be sewn on top for further detail.
In keeping with the Irish theme, a Celtic Interweave stencil from the EQ Library was placed in the corner and center blocks in the outer border.
This is the first time I’ve used EQ after a break of several years and I’m finding the many new (for me) features of EQ7 to be great fun! Though I must admit I wish I had come back a bit earlier – less than 1 week to work on a challenge is not enough time to do it justice!
