Sindy’s done it again! She’s released another adorable quilt pattern on My EQ Boutique AND she’s hosting a Block of the Month for the pattern starting February 1! You can follow along with the BOM on Sindy’s website, or you can purchase the pattern on My EQ Boutique and have all the patterns instantly! Plus, with My EQ Boutique, you’ll be able to print the blocks at any size you like. I could see these cute little penguins on all kinds of projects—pillows, tablerunners, stockings—you name it! The ability to print the patterns at any size makes the possibilities endless! Denise Russart is starting a Dog Pound Pals Adoption Society Block of the Month Project. You’ll be using her adorable dog blocks from MyEQBoutique.com. Denise will be providing a quilt layout, additional block instructions and instructions to set everything all together. The applique dog blocks will be 12″ finished blocks. Denise says, “The blocks are are pretty easy to applique with fairly large pieces.” She will be giving tips on how I applique them using the “freezer paper on the bottom” method of applique, but you can use any applique method you choose to make these blocks. You must sign up before January 25 to participate. Check out Denise’s website for more information.
Have you seen all of our block collections at MyEQBoutique? Did you know you can shop by designer, by technique (pieced vs. applique, etc.), by holiday or theme? Did you know that you can customize your purchase and just buy the blocks you want? (Check out this example) Did you know that you can link MyEQBoutique blocks to your EQ7? One of our downloads is Quiltmaker’s 100 Blocks Volume 1. You can read more about it on Quiltmaker’s blog. Here are some quilts I made with a few of the blocks in the collection. We also have Quiltmaker’s 100 Blocks Volume 2 and Volume 3. You may know many of the designers from the quilting world and as fellow EQ users!
