Designed for clubEQ challenge, September, 2013: Words on Your Quilt!
This table runner is inspired by the art of Sarah Grant, who is the founder of the Sticks Company, Des Moines, Iowa, which produces fabulous and fun folk art furniture and accessories. All art used here is original or from the EQ7 block library.
The rounded ends of the table runner are motif blocks drawn in PatchDraw Motif and set on Layer 2 at the ends of the quilt. The checkerboard on rounded ends was drawn as part of the block to match the size of the border on the square part of the runner. The runner is three blocks set with sashing (no sash border) in a Horizontal layout of 1 block H x 3 blocks V. The checkerboard surrounding the square layout is a Tile Squares border.
