Designed for clubEQ challenge, September, 2013: Words on Your Quilt!

I love this quote from William Morris. It’s my guide for sorting through all the “oddities” I’ve collected over many years and purging what isn’t useful or beautiful (or meaningful for me). My design was inspired by a Mission-style rug I found online. The center of the quilt is a William Morris fabric that I set as a photograph, so it would cover the center space without tiling, as setting a fabric in EQ7 would do.

The outside border is original. The inside border is an edited version of an Auto Border > Triangular > Chevrons and Strips.

I’m thinking of printing out this quilt on quality paper and framing it. It will then be a “finished” project!
