I designed this based on a t-square fractal, but with sizing variation based on the golden ratio. So the patches go from 2″,3″, 5″, 8″, and 13″. EQ was amazing in this process to see how the pattern would scale with fabric and provide measurements. I used the Custom Set for this because it allowed me to build up the blocks in different sizes.
