It was an absolute pleasure to design this on EQ7. It was made up of paper-pieced wedges sewn together to create the swirls.

Jennifer. I just ordered EQ7, but have a question. If we purchase the book, where does the EQ7 come into play on this quilt. I saw one of these at the Texas quilt museum and my husband would love for me to make one. Can’t wait.

What technique did you use in EQ7 to create this?
(It’s great, BTW!)

Lovely quilt. The colours you have chosen are beautiful. I too have done this quilt.
Just get the book called “Quilts without Corners” by Cheryl Phillips and follow the pattern called “Bargello in the Round”. It is a bit intimidating but if you follow the instructions one by one the pattern is quite easy. I did have to purchase the 9 Degree Wedge Ruler or you can get the 10 Degree Wedge Ruler. In this project you actually get 2 Bargello’s in the Round and it is most important to label where they tell you too and to keep very organized.
You should give it a try Cheryl.

I’m intrigued by quilts comprised of wedges, but have not been brave enough to attempt one yet. Yours is very inspiring. Thank you for sharing.
