I wanted to do a Bargello style project. There are 39 batik fabrics in the body of the design, two borders and the lettering. The colors start very light in the upper left, then progress through reds into earthier colors. Using EQ7, I was able to play with colors and borders to get pleasing proportions. The finished piece is almost 5′ x7′ and hangs in our church’s narthex.

Absolutely lovely! How did you do the lettering? Is it applique (fused raw edge or hand-turned), or embroidered? Whichever method, it turned out beautifully.

This is beautiful! Looks like it would be much larger than the 5′ x 7′. Great job!! And I bet your church is pleased with it as well!!
