Designed for the clubEQ challenge for December, 2014: Flying Geese! The 2016 New Quilts from an Old Favorite contest at the National Quilt Museum in Paducah is “Flying Geese.” This is a good time to get a head-start on taking up the challenge, since the quilt won’t be due until November 1, 2015.
The ogee shape appeared when I rotated blocks with a swath of flying geese. The centered medallions are original blocks designed for the Rose of Sharon contest a few years ago.
