I created this fabric with abstract “Thingees” in a dark and light colorway.  I also created a bold red-black plaid.   I was striving mightily over the plaid quilt when an over-my-shoulder voice wondered, “What is that mess?”  So I decided to go with only one design this month.

I discovered that I could not export and import both a light and a dark coloration of the same block.  My solution was to shift a small part of the design and save that as a virtually identical fabric.  Then EQ was exporting and importing two fabrics.

The block is a modified 4 Petal Dresden Flower Fan.  The main border is the Auto-border ‘Simple Fans’ with the Drunkard’s Path block.
