The Electric Quilt Company is so grateful for its retailers. We love that customers can pick up their favorite EQ products, or take EQ classes at their local quilt shop. We reached out to stores all over the world to find out what they love about selling EQ products and promised to feature our favorite responses! After getting so many great replies, we decided to blog about several EQ Retailers: Little Quilts – Marietta, GA “We have been in business for 16 years and have been selling and teaching about Electric Quilt for all those years. We carry a lot of Electric Quilt products. Love your Printable fabric sheets and they are the only ones that we recommend to our customers. Three weeks left! Visit the Free Fabrics of the Month page and download the new Fresh Cut by Basic Grey collection. You can find instructions on that page about how to link the Fabric Library to your EQ7. Design a block in EQ7 and color it with the Fresh Cut fabrics (2 solid colors may be added). There will be a link up to submit your block on Friday, January 30th. THREE winners will be chosen by Basic Grey judges, Rachel Brenchley and Allison Black! See who won! We’re partnering with Moda Fabrics to bring you a fun challenge featuring “Fresh Cut” by Basic Grey! This block design challenge is open to all EQ7 users. How to Get Started Visit the Free Fabrics of the Month page and download the new Fresh Cut by Basic Grey collection. You can find instructions on that page about how to link the Fabric Library to your EQ7. Challenge Rules You must design your block using Electric Quilt 7 (EQ7) design software. The block design must be colored with Fresh Cut fabrics (you may add TWO solid colors/fabrics to the design). The block design can be pieced, appliqué, or both! Block must be at least 6” x 6”. Block designs do not need to be square. The block design can be an original drawing, or a block from the Block Library that you’ve colored your own way using the

Polan Judges’ comments: I love the intricacies of the pieced checkerboards in the borders and how they tie the various elements of the quilt together. I’d love to see this quilt made up! Combination (pieced and appliqué): Jo Moury Judges’ comments: Fantastic quilt and I especially enjoyed reading your plans for appliquéing and quilting it. The words in the border will be wonderful. I’ll look forward to seeing the “real” quilt in a show some day! It is sure to be a winner. The appliqué eagle is a wonderful tribute.
