Timeless Treasures Block Challenge

All you have to do is color a block using fabrics from Timeless Treasure’s new Charleston collection by Revive and submit it by Monday, July 27th! No sewing required! No software required! Challenge Rules 1.  Choose a block (or design your own) and color it with Charleston fabric(s). You may do this using any method you’d like: draw and color it on graph paper, design it using software, choose a block from EQ7, etc. You may use as many Charleston fabrics as you’d like and may also add 1 solid color. (A minimum of 1 Charleston fabric is required. You may not use fabric from any other collection. Quilted in Honor Challenge – Follow Up!

Last fall we ran a 3-month challenge featuring Island Batik’s “Quilted in Honor” fabric line. Participants were required to design a quilt using those fabrics. One of the three winners was Jo Moury for her combination (pieced and appliqué) design. Recently, Jo sent us a photo of her finished quilt – check out how well she followed her EQ7 design! Spring Cleaning Scrap Challenge!

We’ve come up with a fun and easy way to help you use up those old scrap fabrics laying around: a sewing challenge using ONLY your scrap fabrics! You have 1 month! It’s very simple; here are the steps:  Choose a design from the EQ quilts below.  Download and open it in your EQ7.  Color it to match your scrap fabric stash.  Sew your quilt to match the layout.  Submit a photo of the sewn quilt.  Leave a comment to state which quilt design you chose. Rules: You must follow the design exactly. (Do not make changes or add borders to the design.) You must use ONLY scrap fabrics.
