Winner 1: Sonya Chinn

“I teach a monthly class using Studio 180 rulers and monthly I try to come up with new blocks using the rulers. I challenge my students to identify the units in a block. Should a person choose to use the rulers, this quilt takes the Tucker Trimmer, Wing Clipper, Square Squared, V Block, Corner Beam, Corner Pop II and the Triangle Pizazz Technique Sheet. I love the rulers for accuracy and EQ for playing with ideas. Wish I had enough time to stitch out many of my EQ designs. I played with different color ways using this months fabric, but came back to red, white and blue.” – Sonya Chinn
