I have save the projects to a folder, but how can I save them to the library in the EQ7 program?

You cannot save the quilts to the Library because each one is a separate project file (.PJ7) given to us by different designers. You will have 15 different .PJ7 files should you choose to download each day’s free project. To access a design, open the .PJ7 file and click the Sketchbook button. You’ll find the design in the Quilts section.

Thank you EQ and Christine
I am enjoying the projects each day. I bought EQ7 recently and I’m having lots of fun learning to use the program. I have been returning each day to find the new project. I recently completed my first foundation pieced project on the sewing machine. I made a mug rug for Christmas. It was a great starter project because it was small. This Winter tree trivet is another great project for a beginner.
Thanks to all the designers for the generosity of sharing their work with us.

Hi,
I’ve been downloading all the christmasprojects. Now, few days later, I cannot find back all of the projects I already downloaded. How come? Do I have to click to “save as’ for each project? When I open EQ7 I only see the last 4 ones.
thanks in advance for your answer.

Ilse,
When you download the project file, you can either choose Open or Save. If you simply Open the file you’ll need to eventually save the project in EQ7 if you want to access it in the future. Just scroll through the blog and click to download the projects again and be sure to save them.

Linda,
You should be able to double click the files and they will open in EQ7.
If you want to save them in EQ7, copy the files from your Downloads and paste them here:
Documemts > My EQ7 > PJ7
Feel free to call/email Tech Support if you need help!
