Simple blocks in simple layouts can always be jazzed up with sashing and borders. Sampler quilts sometimes need pieced sashing to unite the unrelated blocks together. In this workshop you will learn how to do all this and more. You will cover classic designs (like the Garden Maze and Storm at Sea) and create our own unique secondary designs. The basics of setting up borders, filling them with blocks and printing the patterns will be covered. You will take borders to the next level and start using the automatic borders and designing your own from scratch.
