I took a class in curved piecing by Barb Sherrill. I started making light and dark fabric chunks with curved piecing. I wanted a curvy design that was exploded. I played with Wreathmaker. I decided to tilt the whole design that I made in wreathmaker. Then I stretched and shrunk some of the units. When I printed out the pattern, I decided to curve the background area around the center design and not make it rectangular. I used two different floral prints to represent the coloration of the curved pieced fabrics.
