I designed the quilt with the Chopped 9-patch.  I had started with 25 blocks.  It looked good in EQ, but when I had the blocks done and up on my design wall, the pattern was lost.  So I took out the center blocks up and down, and across, and that was it.  My daughter Cari Stumpf decided to use the pattern for her husband’s godson [Joey is due any day now].  Cari is Joey’s big sister Kaitlyn’s godmother.  Cari pieced and quilted it.
