Here is a quilt I designed, pieced and quilted. The blocks are 4 large flowers, 2 per WOF. It has a sashing and mitered border. The border I did by sewing the narrow black border to the striped outer border, and then attaching to the quilt. I did outline stitching around the flowers, stitched following the lines inside the flowers, and the lines in the background. You can read more about it on my blog, in August and September.
The basic idea came from Cortney at Gruber’s Quilt Shop. She gave me a sketch and I used EQ7 to go from there to the finished product.
