I made this design and quilt for my husband back in 2007. I used the blocks in a round robin exchange, and ended up with the wonderfully scrappy blocks. What I really enjoyed about this was after it was quilted, the empty white spaces reminded me of flying doves.

I’m dying to get my hands on the pattern for the American at Heart Quilt. Where do I find the complete pattern? I triede to print it from the isewfree.com website but all I got was the first page, and when I tried again today (May 17), the link was not available.
Please help.
Thanks.

This is a beautiful quilt. I belong to a quilt group which makes Quilts of Valor. Would you mind if we used your pattern idea for Charity quilts for that program? I would give credit to you on the pattern. It’s striking and I think beginner quilters might be able to handle it. Did you cut the red striped fabric from bias strips? thank You, Sally
