The quilt was inspired by Jane Townswick’s “Artful Album Quilts” and most of the blocks, including the large center one, were from her book. I took photos of the blocks then traced them with EQ6 so I could use them to devise a quilt of my own. The wreath around the center block was made with the wreath maker, I believe, as I could never do those individual leaves one by one! The border is my creation with the help of EQ’s border vines. The blocks are hand appliqued and the quilt is hand quilted.

The quilt is absolutely wonderful with all the applique. The border that you designed fits in so well. The quilt looks like it has some folded applique as well. Congratulations on creating such a beauty Jean.

Fantastic!! Everything about it is lovely. I love applique. You did a wonderful job with the border. How long did it take to make and quilt it? I am really impressed that you hand quilted it.
