I wanted to thank all of you for the nice comments. I enjoy designing, and I truly love Electric Quilt. Rosalyn … It’s not difficult at all. And, cats are so very expressive. Work from a photo of a cat’s face, tracing, but stylizing or simplifying as you go. Start with the face level and draw half, then clone and flip to get the other half, then select and rotate to get the tilt. Add the feathers, or anything else that you like. Also, I find that if I get the eyes right first, everything else seems to work. You should try it. I bet you’ll surprise yourself
And, Marianne and Dolores…. feel free to make this one if you like. I’d send you the EQ file, but I don’t know to reach you. Maybe you’re among the lucky ones who submit designs to Club EQ and have the files sent to you. If there’s another way, let me know.
