I started out with block 1018.4 from BlockBase in an on point setting. Because I did not like the half blocks that I ended up with on the sides of the quilt, I drew a different block that would achieve the same look, but without half blocks on the side.

I used one of the Autoblock borders with vines and pasted heart motifs over them on layer 2.
