Thank you, Penny. My daughter is living in Africa and her many beautiful pictures of animals stirred my interest. I viewed many mask pictures, and then used my EQ program to draw my own original designs. I have more than these five animal designs and also a set of people faces. And of course, every time I view the designs I have to “tweek” them a little. I spent a lot of time this EQ challenge redesigning the lion head so that I liked it better. Maybe someday I will make a quilt with them. Right now I am still working on my Shweshwe African fabric Dresden quilt. I am sure glad that you and your husband developed Electric Quilt. It has provided many many hours of creative efforts and fun.
There’s definitely a story behind these designs, Janet. I’d love to hear more. They are amazing.
