I started this with a one patch layout, diamond shape and used the freehand brush to colour in sets of 4 to make more triangles.  I used Kaffe Fasset fabrics from the fabric library in one colour family to be similar to the Sochi style.  I made a diamond motif block and used the wreathmaker to make the floral shapes wihich I  placed on Layer 2 and used fabrics in the colours of the Olympic rings to colour.  The five borders are also in the colours of the Olymic rings.
