I found a Morning Star quilt online in a search for 30s quilts. My BlockBase vanished when I had trouble with my PC. I didn’t find the block in the EQ library, so I drew it. When I installed BlockBase again, I found the block that is named Morning Star as well as Virginia and Rosebud. When the star points are made a color different than the background, a star appears. I added a single Irish chain in the alternate blocks in a lighter color; it makes the Morning Stars seem to float in another layer.
