I took a section of a page from the Book of Kells and played with Symmetries to create my fabric design.  Then I used the Line Tool to draw the Celtic frame. The central applique is adapted from something I found in an old English illuminated manuscript.  I tried to stay with the coloring from the Kells design to keep an over-all “antique” look.
