I want to practice circles so I decided to make “ornaments” for an Advent Calendar. I plan on embroidering the snow in the windows as well as the numbers on the balls. I think that I will make actual bows to add to the presents attaching them with velcro to make washing and ironing easier.

Thanks ladies for the comments and the suggestions. After I submitted the design, I realized that I had one too many ornaments for treasures (but my kids thought that I should go with it anyway
! I resubmitted the design last week, but I think that it might have been overtaken by Houston (and who wouldn’t understand that!)

I like the idea of adding embroidery and if you want to go all out a few crochet snowflakes might be nice too!

What a fun Advent calendar! I know you said you were going to embroider the snowflakes in the windows. There are also some very nice fabrics with snowflakes that might work, too! I’ve collected some to use for a similar quilt.
