Per request we’re extending our December: Flowerpots! Challenge into January.
Design a quilt that showcases flowerpots. You may have one or many. The pot may contain a flower or a plant or a cache of miscellaneous things or nothing at all. You may use blocks and block combinations from the EQ7 block library or design something new (it’s always nice to get new blocks). Use any quilt layout you desire and don’t forget a table runner or a placemat as a possibility!

I’m fairly new to using EQ7, and my EQ bee has decided to try the Challenge each month. I hope to improve throughout the year.

This was so much fun! Drawing appliqué motifs using all the tools, send to back and front, editing and editing once more. I used a googled and imported photo of a great titmouse to trace. It’s the same flowerpot in each motif, I just resized it or put it upside down This is the way my flowerpots are being used all year long! Sorry, I forgot to remove fabrics and photos the first time uploading
