This challenge is inspired by the annual contest at the National Quilt Museum in Paducah, KY. For the year 2016 the theme is New Quilts from an Old Favorite: New York Beauty. NYB is one of my favorite quilt patterns, so it was fun to play with different ideas with this old favorite. I took a traditional NYB block and added curves. The setting is from the Layout Library > Hexagons. The blocks with extending points were set on Layer 2 and the border of the layout was deleted to create a virtual border that is an irregular shape.
