Once I had a window well then of course I needed a door!

Quilt wallhanging is design around a custom set center with the Door Panel and Door Mullion blocks set on Layer 1, the 1st border framing the center of the door out and border #2 forming the flanking columns.

The Brick Wall blocks, Steps and top Pediment were designed as motif blocks and set on Layer 2 in the virtual border.

I drew the lanterns and door latch appliqué motif blocks in Patchdraw and set them on layer 2 also.

The planter with flowers sitting on the door step is a revised version of a block from the EQ Block Library. It was set on Layer 2 and designed to be a 3-D element with several of the leaves extending beyond the border.
