I saw an off-set log cabin block in a magazine (can’t remember which). I started playing with the block and then ended up with one I liked and played with layouts. All blocks are constructed with 2.5″ strips. Wanted to design it scrappy to use up all my leftover 2.5 precuts but EQ can’t do scrappy unless you are willing to recolor each strip individually. I wasn’t.
