I wanted a border to go around a panel — something easy to sew (maybe could be completed at a single sew-day) other than straight borders. I also wanted it to be pleasing to the eye and not distracting from the panel. I used EQ8 to decide on the layout. EQ8 also helped me realize I wanted the panel off-centered. I’m sharing a full view photo without the recipient, because in the photo from the award ceremony, you cannot even see the beautiful Eagle panel.
