Stephanie – start with a sketch, re-draw onto grid paper. Walk in the parks for inspiration, join a quilting guild – they offer workshops and have been a very sharing group – wherever our wanderings have taken hubby & I.

Having been a winner of this design challenge many years back, it is so wonderful to see that quilting continues – and has grown in participation and new ideas. As Founder of Quilts of Valour – Canada, it is also wonderful to see the quilts that are still being made for our Canadian Armed Forces serving members who are still returning from regions of the world that do not enjoy the freedoms and prosperity we have. And yes there are many. Just Google Active Canadian military operations.

Slowing down. We have been RV living and travelling for the past 4 years. I am ready to design blocks/quilts based on Canada, from SK/BC borders to the west coast, and from the US border to beyond the Arctic circle. And then make more quilts. Thank you EQ!

Congratulations everyone! These are the quilts I would have picked as well. Jodie and Jenny’s quilts are so great and each of the honorable mention quilts were more of my favorites. So nice to see such great quilts being entered every month and I learn so much from doing this.
