1. Click Worktable > Work on Quilt.
  2. Click Add/Remove Buttons .
  3. Click Set Applique Text if it is unchecked.
  4. Click Layer 2.
  5. Click the Paintbrush  tool.
  6. Select a fabric or color for your text.
  7. Click the Set Applique Text tool.
  8. Choose the font, style and size in the Applique Text box. (This can be changed later.)
  9. Hold down your keyboard SHIFT key, then click and drag a box on the quilt.
  10. Type your message.
  11. Click the Adjust tool.
  12. Click the message you just typed. Drag the text by the center to move it. Drag the text by a corner to resize it.
