Videos would be nice to view, but to have to start and stop, go back, etc. if you don’t understand something would start driving you crazy after a while. Plus, you would either have to have two computers on, or jump back and forth between windows to view lesson and do on EQ. On the other hand, trying to read instructions written by a programmer is sometimes harder to understand. Still, I guess written instructions would be the best.

05-10-2016
9:51 am
I definitely would take the on line classes with printable instructions. Yes it’s nice to see the teacher do something, but unless and until you do it yourself, the info doesn’t get “logged-in”. Having the step by step instructions next to me as I worked through the Quilt U classes many years ago was invaluable to me in climbing the EQ learning curve.

9:55 am
My answer is B. It’s one thing to watch a video and go off and do; should you remember all of it or take notes. However, to be able to all is so much better. It aids the audio, visual and tactile learners. Hence, you cover a broader market. This shouldn’t be so hard to figure out by your marketing people.
05-10-2016
9:55 am
B…..Your printed instructions have been excellent in the past…..I can do each step in my own time…..often times videos move along too fast…..I have to watch them over and over before I retain it.

10:00 am
A. I do better with a video since I can stop and start when I need to.
05-10-2016
10:00 am
A. I am more likely to view the video. But if videos follow the users manual, there is no need for further printed material.
05-10-2016
10:00 am
I think B. Visual learning is great, but many times I speed up the videos to get past parts I don’t need help with. With printed materials, I feel I can skim parts I know or easily understand rather than being unsure where to start and stop a video to get to the parts I need. I do both, just prefer printed or combination so I can refer back rather than search for a spot in a video and I feel printed lets me go at my own pace easily.

My answer is A. Even if I have printed instructions I often search for a video to clarify anything that seems unclear. So definitely I would opt for a video class.
05-10-2016
10:03 am
I vote for B. I like to have written lessons with diagrams or pictures that I can work on at my leisure. Since I can seldom do the whole lesson at once I can go back over the last part I looked at before going on. Videos are nice but I can’t look at a video and EQ7 at the same time.

05-10-2016
10:06 am
I would prefer to have printable lessons to refer to later.
05-10-2016
10:07 am
I would prefer B since I would like to refer back to printed directions. A video would compliment the instructions, but if I had to pick only one – B would be best for me.

I think the videos help the most. Having said that, I’m going to Denver to learn in a classroom setting. That works the best for me. I’ve bought my EQ25 shirt to wear to classes.
05-10-2016
10:08 am
I enjoy videos, but I prefer to have printable lessons that I can refer to….so, for me, it is option B..
05-10-2016
10:08 am
I prefer B. That way I always have a reference “book” to look at when needed.
05-10-2016
10:08 am
I would prefer B – that way I can take my time and learn at my own pace rather than having to rewind videos all the time.
05-10-2016
10:09 am
I prefer videos or one-on-one instruction, so I would have to say “A”. I’m a visual person– show me once and I’m the greatest copy-cat!

B. Printable instructions with diagrams would be my choice for designing with EQ.
05-10-2016

05-10-2016
10:11 am
A would be my preferred method. I’m a very visual learner!
05-10-2016
10:11 am
I don’t use the software everyday, so I forget how to navigate the designs. I would like B so I can refer back to the parts that I can’t remember. Also having paper allows me to take notes and draw pictures. Thank you for this great opportunity!!!
05-10-2016
10:11 am
I learn best by reading and then doing the lessons myself. Therefore I would like B.

10:12 am
I am a visual person, so normally I would say videos. However, videos without some printed reference material is not a good solution for a mature mind. I find that I am having to read the instructions more and more every year. So by default, I have to choose B.
05-10-2016
10:12 am
While I enjoy videos as tutorials, I much prefer printed instructions with diagrams. I can then refer to them at another time if I have forgotten after a significant time span.
05-10-2016

I would prefer , B. Online class with printable step-by-step lessons (no videos).

10:15 am
I would prefer B. I need to be able to refer back.
05-10-2016
10:15 am
While I appreciate the videos, they absolutely require “real time,” meaning that there is no way to skim the parts that I already understand. On the other hand, sometimes I find that the printed instructions are not as specific as I need. On balance, though, I prefer the printed instructions.
05-10-2016
10:16 am
I prefer option A- I learn much better when I can see the process in action.
05-10-2016
10:17 am
B online with printable lessons–I like to refer back to printable pages.
05-10-2016
10:17 am
I’ve been trying to decide which would be more effective for me. I think I’ll stick with A since the software is so visual and fast moving, I think a video could cover a tutorial more effectively. Thanks.
05-10-2016
10:17 am
A like to see it as long as I can pause or do a 30 sec rewind.
05-10-2016
10:17 am
I would like to have the printable lessons. Just the way I learn best.
05-10-2016
10:18 am
Given only these two options, I choose B. Printable lessons are useful for future reference. While I’d prefer to watch the lesson via video and have the ability to print that lesson, I see that this is not an option. There are learning platforms that offer both options for the student. Doing this would appeal to the visual learner and those who want a “hard” copy of the lesson.
05-10-2016
10:18 am
I enjoy video classes that follow a step by step method. I love using EQ! I even used EQ7 to redesign my family room to accommodate my long arm.
05-10-2016

Video lessons for complex things without printout information are not as helpful as you might expect.
So I would choose B as long as it is well illustrated and includes numerous screen shots.
05-10-2016
10:21 am
I love online videos if I have unlimited access. But if I really want to learn how to do the lessons I think written lessons are better. My answer is B.

05-10-2016
10:22 am

05-10-2016
10:22 am
Option B. I don’t do well in a classroom.
05-10-2016
10:22 am
A. Watching someone would be faster than reading–as long as it covered everything that would be in the printable version.
05-10-2016
10:23 am
A- I learn better watching someone else do it and explain it.
05-10-2016
10:23 am

05-10-2016
10:39 am
I would prefer the online option with videos….I usually think I’ll get around to reading the book, but never seem to. I’ll go to the books for answers to specific problems I’ve come up against…or, to figure out how to do something…but I’ve yet to read the book cover to cover. Lazy, I know…but true!!!
05-10-2016
10:39 am
B – I can have the print lesson open next to my computer that way!
05-10-2016
10:40 am
I prefer B, like so many others have said, the printed directions allow one to go back over the instructions for review, take notes, etc.
05-10-2016
10:41 am
A – i have taken print based classes and they were good, but I think i would learn faster and better with a visual approach.
05-10-2016
10:41 am
B – online with printable lessons.
05-10-2016
10:42 am
option A: I am a visual learner and I like the ability to replay a video segment to be sure I understand the point being made.
05-10-2016
10:42 am
B. The written text is helpful. In the beginning, as I learned EQ, I made an index card notebook for referral with short-hand instructions.
As I learned the steps I found I didn’t need to look at after a very short while.
05-10-2016
10:42 am
Absolutely B.
05-10-2016
10:43 am
I would prefer on line lessons with printable instructions.
05-10-2016
10:43 am
B, because it’s always a convenience to have the print version handy as reference.
05-10-2016
10:43 am
B I like the printed lessons to refer to as I work on EQ.
05-10-2016
10:43 am
Whereas seeing the work on video is great on initial viewing, moving through a video to find a particular point of reference to repeat and reinforce a learning objective can take an inordinate amount of time multiplied exponentially depending how many times the repeat is needed. Therefore I would deem the paper route to be the most beneficial from a reference/learning point of view as pages are much easier to scan.
05-10-2016
10:44 am
Definitely B so I can refresh my memory if I get stuck later.

05-10-2016
10:55 am

11:00 am
I’d like the written instructions version. Videos are great but pausing them and then trying to do something is too difficult. Of course, if you offer both, that would be ideal. I also wish you would offer single lesssons on some of the more advanced techniques. I learned EQ through trial and error, using the books and by just working on different techniques. I don’t need a beginners class and don’t need the sampler but would love things like a less on Medallion quilts as and example.
05-10-2016
11:01 am
I prefer B
05-10-2016
11:01 am
A. Online class with full video lessons (no printable lessons)
05-10-2016

11:08 am
I would most defiantly vote for “A”! I am a visual learner!
05-10-2016
11:08 am
I find that I learn best by doing so step by step instructions would be a great learning tool for me! Sometimes the videos can be overwhelming when trying to follow along and making sure you remember where you left off, or timing a pause just right to get caught up!
05-10-2016
11:10 am
B please
05-10-2016

05-10-2016
11:12 am
I would choose A.. Online classes with full video lessons
05-10-2016
11:13 am
I like “A”. I learn best by watching someone else, and I can always go back and watch the video again if I forget something. I don’t like the printable option since there is already too much paper cluttering my life.
I enjoy these contests. It’s fun to see all the different responses, and the prizes are great! Thank you.
05-10-2016
11:13 am
I want “B” please. I like to have written instructions that I can refer back to when I need to.

05-10-2016
11:17 am
Option B
05-10-2016
11:17 am
B. Give me the reference material every time and I’ll learn as I go. I’m too old to watch “tv” and watch what I’m doing at the same time!
05-10-2016
11:17 am
I prefer option B.
05-10-2016
11:17 am
I prefer B. Then I have something to look at and read for future uses.
05-10-2016
11:17 am

11:19 am
I strongly prefer B. I do much better going at my own pace without having to pause, go back.
05-10-2016
11:21 am
I would choose b – that way I would have the instructions after the class
05-10-2016
11:21 am
I prefer B. This way I can look at the instructions as I do the steps. Plus save them for the future if I forget how it was done.
05-10-2016
11:21 am
B definetely more useful for me. I like to refer back to material without having to rewarch a video.
05-10-2016
11:22 am
B
05-10-2016
11:23 am
I would prefer A because I’m a visual person. A video can be played any time.
05-10-2016
11:23 am
B please, I like to have hard copy for reference.
05-10-2016
11:23 am
I am a visual person and learn easier if I can watch a video so I choose A
05-10-2016
11:24 am
I prefer B
05-10-2016
11:24 am
Print instructions suit my learning style best, so B.
05-10-2016
11:24 am
With the printable.
05-10-2016
11:24 am
Hands down B!
05-10-2016
11:24 am
I like videos but I’ll choose B because I want a printable reference to use and make notes on.
05-10-2016
11:26 am
I prefer method A. I love your fabric and EQ.
05-10-2016
11:26 am
I learn when I can connect a “lecture” with something written. But because there is only an either or I would prefer the video and would take my own notes. I would need to be able to stop and repeat the video, though. And the ability to revisit the video would be great. Like the Craftsy classes. Once you have purchased the class, its yours.
05-10-2016
11:27 am
I’d love a combo but if I have to choose one it would be B to have a hard copy of instructions.
05-10-2016
11:27 am
How would I prefer to learn Electric Quilt software?
A. Online class with full video lessons (no printable lessons)
As a visual learner, I would prefer what I can see, however, the 2nd option is good when you want to review it at a later time. So my answer is that I’d like video lessons with a printout to refresh my memory later!!!
05-10-2016
11:27 am
B, defininately. Reflection and pondering time is better with the written word (and easier to read in bed, too).
05-10-2016
11:28 am
“definitely”
05-10-2016
11:27 am
I think I prefer “B” to be able to have something in hand to refer back to. Videos are good if they cover much, but only if they are continually available.
“B” for me. Thanks.
05-10-2016
11:28 am
B. I prefer to have printable lessons
05-10-2016
11:29 am
Videos, if they are available to watch over and over, and if they can be paused as needed.
05-10-2016
11:29 am
B, as I like something to refer to quickly when actually trying the technique in EQ.
Would this be different information from the manual? The videos would have been my first choice if it was following along with the manual in some manner, so I always had printed material as well.
05-10-2016
11:29 am
B – Like to print the lesson and take it with me to my sewing machine.
05-10-2016
11:30 am
I prefer B — old fashioned paper reference materials!
05-10-2016
11:30 am
I must choose B since I would need a reference to look back too. Also the problem of possible interenet down time. timewilltell63 at yahoo dot com
05-10-2016
11:31 am
videos if they are able to be done anytime you want and can be watched as many times as you need
05-10-2016
11:31 am
I prefer with printable instructions, much easierfor me to learn.
05-10-2016
11:31 am
I would choose option A. I would prefer video lessons. This is a great giveaway, thank you for the chance. Have a great day!
05-10-2016
11:32 am
B, want a quick reference when needed.
05-10-2016
11:32 am
B, as I like to have something printed I can refer to.
05-10-2016
11:32 am
Online videos would be a great way to learn as long as they would be available indefinitely.
05-10-2016
11:32 am
I prefer B, the printed lessons.
05-10-2016
11:32 am
B I like to go back and furth in the lessons.
05-10-2016
11:32 am
Online classes with video (Option A) as long as it would be possible to go back at a later date and review the video.
05-10-2016
11:34 am
(A) Iwould prefer videos with no printouts. I never print out the lessons…. Inks to expensive! I’d rather buy fabric
05-10-2016
11:34 am
B. Online class with printable step-by-step lessons (no videos)
05-10-2016
11:34 am
A videos to see and learn again and again.
05-10-2016
11:35 am
A. I love online classes.
05-10-2016
11:35 am
Online class, if I could refer to it when needed.
05-10-2016
11:35 am
B – printed instructions that I can refer to later would be great. I don’t necessarily want to print them, as long as I could save them as a PDF and refer to them later.
05-10-2016
11:36 am
A. Online class with full video lessons (no printable lessons)
05-10-2016
11:36 am
I prefer printed lessons for future reference.
05-10-2016
11:37 am
A – videos to watch again and again.
05-10-2016
11:37 am
I prefer the step-by-step video. It gives me the option to view multiple times, reverting back to a place that perhaps I missed or forgot, or just refreshing my memory. A printed version is great but, then I have to file it and relocate it later. I tend to spill coffee on it and of course chocolate, and that doesn’t happen on my video!
05-10-2016
11:37 am
I guess I’d have to say printed would be my choice. Since I do have a lap top or tablet to put by my sewing machine, printed instructions would make more sense. Heck, I don’t even have a fancy machine. It does 6 additional stitches besides straight and zig zag.
05-10-2016
11:38 am
A! Love that I CA just click and learn!
05-10-2016
11:40 am
A! Love that I can just click and learn!!!
05-10-2016
11:40 am
I prefer written. I can go back over at my own pace.
05-10-2016
11:40 am
I would prefer B for quick reference, as long as it is different than just a rehash of the manual.
05-10-2016
11:40 am
I would love to say both but since that isn’t an option, I would say b. I agree with the others about needing something to refer to.
05-10-2016
11:41 am
Printable instructions that I can easily refer to! Thanks
05-10-2016
11:41 am
B, printed lessons.
05-10-2016
11:41 am
Defintely B – I am always going back to the printouts – always finding something I had missed.
05-10-2016
11:42 am
B, the printed lessons.
05-10-2016
11:43 am
B
05-10-2016
11:44 am
A
But I would say that having videos with printable checklists, etc. would be the best.
05-10-2016
11:44 am
B, because I find printed lessons much easier to refer back to.
05-10-2016
11:44 am
I prefer A. I like to be able to watch things over again, plus, let’s save some trees.
05-10-2016
11:46 am
A. I am a visual learner and I like being able to refer back to a video at my convenience.
05-10-2016
11:47 am
While I love videos, I would prefer the printed lessons (with pictures) so I can refer back to them while I’m actually using EQ.
Often I am not interested in what the lesson is teaching “today” but I will probably want to get my hands on them later.
Thanks
05-10-2016
11:47 am
I would prefer the online video lessons but only if I could access them as often as I wanted.
05-10-2016
11:47 am
A. Videos. I learn best by watching.
05-10-2016
11:48 am
Printed materials is my preference.
05-10-2016
11:48 am
A. Video lessons
05-10-2016
11:49 am
Video lessons, but only if they are of a very high quality like the videos produced by Craftsy and Annie’s. They need to be broken down into chunks that are easy to navigate, re-reference, and bookmark.
05-10-2016
11:49 am
Definitely B. Videos go to quickly and pausing, backing up, then unpausing gets to be frustrating
05-10-2016
11:49 am
I prefer B so I can go over and over it if I don’t unerstand
05-10-2016
11:50 am
B. My preference is printed materials.
05-10-2016
11:51 am
Since both is off the table,I’d have to say B. I like notes to refer back to.
05-10-2016
11:52 am
B. I prefer to have step by step printable directions, so that, later, when I forget how to do something, I can go back and look at my directions again. Unless the videos are lifetime viewing, printables are best.
05-10-2016
11:52 am
B. I think having a visual class along with handouts is the way I Iearn best.
05-10-2016
11:52 am
While I love online classes I love hard copy. So I would have to say B. Having a hard copy of the lessons to refer back to would work best for me. Slow learner.
05-10-2016
11:52 am
The printed copy B works best for me.
05-10-2016
11:52 am
A) Videos, I am a visual learner. once the class is purchased I feel the videos should be accessible to us for an unlimited time. Plus the videos should have the functionality to be can be paused, rewound, played again and again.
05-10-2016
11:52 am
A – Seeing someone do step by step is very helpful. Seeing the screens and where to go exactly helps.
05-10-2016
11:53 am
A. Full video…
05-10-2016
11:53 am
A – online class with Video lessons! I learn best by watching!
05-10-2016
11:54 am
I prefer printable lessons. I learn by doing and I can work at my own pace with printed lessons. It is also the way I’ve been learning all my life (computers arrived in homes about the time I left school! )
05-10-2016
11:54 am
I would prefer printable instructions. I find it is difficult to take notes with the videos and then it is difficult to find the same place again.
05-10-2016
11:55 am
I would prefer print (B). I like video also, but it’s always a drag to lug the computer out and I have lousy Wi-Fi!
05-10-2016
11:56 am
This is a difficult choice, but I would say printed lessons as long as the lessons include high quality pictures and the steps have been tested by someone that hasn’t been involved in creating the lesson. The testing part is important because it would tend to eliminate errors in the instructions and assumptions made by the developer.
05-10-2016
11:56 am
I prefer written instrctions
05-10-2016
11:57 am
A – videos are really helpful when you can watch someone actually go through the steps.
05-10-2016
11:57 am
B. Since you can’t interact with the video, the printable lesson can be saved to a PDF file and have for reference later. I’m not sure how to easily reference one part of a video without making sure it’s still available and finding the correct spot. PDFs allow you to search for a keyword.
05-10-2016
11:58 am
I’m torn. The printable lessons would be helpful because currently I have to stop what I’m doing in EQ to watch a video and then go back and remember each step while I am working in EQ. The printable would allow me to see the steps as I am attempting to do them in Sometimes I eatch them multiple times because my memory is not so good. I suppose I could write the instructions from the video as I watch it, but the printable would be more concise. I do like the fact that the videos are paperless, for environmental reasons, but the printables would be nice.
05-10-2016
11:58 am
B I like to see it on paper and have it to use for reference later
05-10-2016
11:58 am
A, online. I am a visual learner for sure!
05-10-2016
11:58 am
B. Online class with printable step-by-step lessons (no videos)
05-10-2016
11:59 am
I would say B printable lessons. I find it easier to reference the next step if lesson is printed versus trying to find it on a video.
05-10-2016
11:59 am
I prefer B. I like to have something written beside me as I do it the first few times.
05-10-2016
12:00 pm
I seem to learn better with printed instructions. They make it easy to backtrack if I need to check on instructions.
05-10-2016
12:00 pm
Video lessons that are always accessible would be my preference.
05-10-2016
12:02 pm
b -printable instryctions
05-10-2016
12:02 pm
B – definitely both
05-10-2016
12:02 pm
B. I want to be able to work on EQ while reading the lessons, which I couldn’t do if I were watching a video.
05-10-2016
12:03 pm
I choose B. I would prefer printable instructions for quick reference.
05-10-2016
12:03 pm
B, I love online classes, but need something to refer back to.
05-10-2016
12:03 pm
I prefer option B. I like something in my hand to refer to.
05-10-2016
12:03 pm
B. I prefer to have printable lessons that I can refer to at a later date.
05-10-2016
12:04 pm
B
05-10-2016
12:04 pm
Print preferred. Print manuals are much easier than online to move back and forth when figuring out how to make features work.
05-10-2016
12:04 pm
I would say b- easier to reference quickly
05-10-2016
12:05 pm
B- online class with printable
05-10-2016
12:06 pm
tough one…i do like the videos but because i do not have inexpensive internet i would have to pick printable lessons (unless there is an option somewhere i’ve missed where i can download the the lesson and then watch it at home?).
05-10-2016
12:07 pm
I choose A. I’m such a visual learner.
05-10-2016
12:07 pm
A.
Video would be nice with some sort of list of Frequently Asked Questions referring back to place-marks in the video.
05-10-2016
12:08 pm
A – online videos. I agree with another comment – I never print out instructions. I learn visually so the videos are perfect for me.
05-10-2016
12:08 pm
I would love to have a combo but since I have to choose it would have to be B..It helps to have hard copies. I love my EQ7 but I need to learn more.
05-10-2016
12:08 pm
Video lessons if they would refer to the section of the manual that gives the same information.
05-10-2016
12:08 pm
I prefer B..
05-10-2016
12:08 pm
I would prefer option A. No need to risk losing some paper when a video will be online and accessible at any time and from anywhere.
05-10-2016
12:09 pm
B – much prefer to have something printed in front of me that I can write on and refer to again as required. Thanks for the great giveaway!
05-10-2016
12:12 pm
B Printable lessons I can hi-light and mark up with reference points as I’m using EQ on the computer.
05-10-2016
12:12 pm
B – That’s a tough call, but I really like to be able to see things in print (with photos or graphics). For instance, I’m really enjoying the format of the lessons in “Quilt Design: Design Tricks from EQ Experts”.
05-10-2016
12:12 pm
I prefer B- printable directions that I could use to follow along.
05-10-2016
12:12 pm
B
05-10-2016
12:13 pm
I choose B. I like the idea of holding and reading the directions so I can take my time and refer to the notes.
05-10-2016
12:13 pm
B. I like having the printed material in front of me.
05-10-2016
12:13 pm
A. Videos are helpful.
05-10-2016
12:15 pm
B. It is easier for me to go at my own pace without pausing a video
05-10-2016
12:16 pm
A – I like videos for learning, even better if you can download them for multiple viewings.
05-10-2016
12:17 pm
I would choose A with the stipulation that the videos can be paused and rewatched more than once. This combined with the manual should make for great learning
05-10-2016
12:17 pm
A am a visual learner.
05-10-2016
12:17 pm
I like B method to learn EQ.
05-10-2016
12:18 pm
B.
However, I am not going to lie. I am deaf. Therefore, if the video(s) are not closed captioning, I will not purchase or participate.
05-10-2016
12:19 pm
I learn better when I read the directons, so B is my choice.
05-10-2016
12:21 pm
A because I like to see the demo. But it would be great to have printable lessons to go along with the video.
05-10-2016
12:22 pm
I like printed material that I can refer to later.a month after viewing a Video it is impossible to remember all the steps to a process. So I vote for option A
05-10-2016
12:22 pm
A I’m a visual learner
05-10-2016
12:22 pm
B. I love the ability to pause videos, but also like something tangible.
05-10-2016
12:22 pm
B. Love to have easy access if I need to go back to review something.
05-10-2016
12:23 pm
I prefer print out instructions. I like video, but find it a pain to stop and start all the time.
05-10-2016
12:24 pm
B…like having a hard copy to go back and forth with.
05-10-2016
12:25 pm
B, I am the type of person that has to have printable instructions. It would be nice to have a video with printable information to re-read, if possible.
05-10-2016
12:25 pm
B. I like to take my time learning and perfecting.
05-10-2016
12:25 pm
I like learning online watching the video and also having written tutorials. So, a combination of A and B. Online video to watch the demo. Sometimes this is all I need. However, I do like the printable tutorials or PDF’s to review step by step at a later date.
05-10-2016
12:27 pm
B It allows me to work at my own pace. Also, it allows me to refer to the lessons even when I do not have internet access.
05-10-2016
12:27 pm
A – online class with video.
05-10-2016
12:28 pm

05-10-2016
12:29 pm
B – I do better at reading and going at my own speed.
05-10-2016
12:33 pm
A. An online class that you can rewind and is always available.
05-10-2016
12:34 pm
B. I really like the printed instructions because I can replay the section I want at any time.
05-10-2016
12:35 pm
A as I too am a visual learner but I need to be able to follow along with printed material, make notes, and refer back to it later
05-10-2016
12:36 pm
I would choose A if the videos were downloadable for reference. If not then some printable material would be wonderful for backup and reference.
05-10-2016
12:36 pm
A. I like to be able to view the project.
05-10-2016
12:37 pm
Definitely B
05-10-2016
12:37 pm
B – Videos are nice, but a hard copy is easier to follow.
05-10-2016
12:38 pm
B. I much prefer to read than to watch a video. I do like to refer back while understanding, and that is not so easy when watching videos. Slow internet (the only available here) doesn’t help either since often videos don’t download well.
05-10-2016
12:38 pm
A I find it very helpful to see things bwing done.
05-10-2016
12:39 pm

05-10-2016

05-10-2016
1:00 pm
With printable lesson. I live in the country and Internet service is very limited and expensive. Online classes are really not an accessible option.
05-10-2016
1:00 pm
B. While I love video instruction, it’s usually easier for me to follow step by step printed directions.
05-10-2016
1:00 pm

I am a visual learner, so although I’d like both, if I have to choose just one, I choose A the videos.
05-10-2016
1:08 pm
I would prefer a video where I could go over it as many times as needed to get the technique or whatever it is that I’m trying to master.
05-10-2016
1:09 pm
I find its much easier for me to go at my own pace when time is available. Also I prefer to read as I am working the lesson on the computer.
Of course an additional video would be great.
05-10-2016
1:09 pm
A for me.
05-10-2016
1:09 pm
Definitely “B”. I like to have illustrations to refer back to.
05-10-2016
1:10 pm
I would like printed lessons
05-10-2016
1:10 pm
B. Although I can’t figure out how you have an online class without viewing videos. The older I get the more I need the printed material sitting in front of me…lol
05-10-2016
1:10 pm
I prefer option A
05-10-2016
1:11 pm
I would say A because seeing things done helps me learn better than reading alone.
05-10-2016
1:11 pm
B. I like not having to write notes but having a reference available.
05-10-2016
1:15 pm
B, I need a reference that I can refer back to, as a memory aid.
05-10-2016
1:15 pm
I prefer B so that I can refer back to it.
05-10-2016
1:15 pm
I’m a visual learner and like to go back over and over, so i think I wold like to be able to print out the lessons. Thanks for sharing
05-10-2016
1:15 pm
B. I like to be able to refer back to printed instructions with lots of pictures!
05-10-2016
1:16 pm
I choose B — I usually like to read instructions rather than watching videos
05-10-2016
1:16 pm
A, I like to see how others are doing the process
05-10-2016
1:17 pm
Option A. I am a visual learner so being able to go back at anytime to view would be most helpful to me. Thank you.
05-10-2016
1:22 pm
A. If the videos are clear and we’ll focused so that I can pause and study them repeatedly until I have it down. Prefer captions because of my hearing problems.
05-10-2016
1:23 pm
B. It’s easier to reference later on.
05-10-2016
1:25 pm
Being a visual learner, I would prefer A with the videos.
05-10-2016
1:25 pm
I love video instruction. I’d vote for “A”.
05-10-2016
1:26 pm
A is my choice.
05-10-2016
1:26 pm
B. I like to be able to go at my own pace and go back to reference an item easily without having to rewind or try to find it again in a video.
05-10-2016
1:27 pm
B. Prefer to be able to quickly go back and review, or read then do, read then do, etc. Easier to remember things that way.
05-10-2016
1:28 pm
B I prefer no videos, sometimes it is hard to catch the details in videos. I like being able to refer back to notes later when I forget a part.
05-10-2016
1:29 pm
B. -I like to have printed directions to refer to as often as necessary.
05-10-2016
1:30 pm
I prefer A- Its great to be able to replay a video.
05-10-2016
1:30 pm
A. Online class with full video lessons (no printable lessons)
05-10-2016
1:30 pm
“A”
05-10-2016
1:30 pm
B. I like to take my time and check what I have done. So much easier to do with printed directions.
05-10-2016
1:30 pm
Tough choice but, if I have to choose one I would pick B. I like videos but if I want to go back to a particular process it’s much easier to just look it up with the printed material than trying to go back in a video to review the steps.
05-10-2016
1:31 pm
B – I like to save the printouts to refer to later
05-10-2016
1:33 pm
I’d prefer B. That way, I’d have something to refer back to when I am working in EQ7.
05-10-2016
1:33 pm
I like both equally well. It’s more important how well it is done than the format.
05-10-2016
1:33 pm
A. Hopefully with the ability to pause and backup the videos.
05-10-2016
1:35 pm
I prefer online class with video that I can pause as I work through the lesson. After all, who needs more paper which only takes up space that could be used for fabric!.
05-10-2016
1:36 pm
B I stay busy and prefer to be able to stop and restart when I need to.
05-10-2016
1:36 pm
A because I’m a visual person and seeing a “live” presentation works best for my mind. I would also like it to be something repeatable meaning I have access to watch it more than once.
05-10-2016
1:36 pm
I would like the online classes with printable lessons that I can refer to later.
05-10-2016
1:37 pm
B
05-10-2016
1:44 pm
Difficult choice. I’d go with B.
But reading/learnng isn’t for everyone, look how many people answering this question must not have read the instructions to not choose both.
05-10-2016
1:46 pm
B. I much prefer to work through things at my own pace and written instructions are easier to go back into to reread instructions.
05-10-2016
1:47 pm
I find the videos helpful, but if I only had one media I would prefer to have it printed out. It’s easier for me to work through printed instructions because I have to keep going bakc and figuring out what I didn’t understand the first time. Going back in a video is too difficult. I can never find the right spot to pick up.
05-10-2016
1:47 pm
B. I need the printed matter!
05-10-2016
1:48 pm
I think I would prefer printed instructions – it is easier to go back and refer to them rather than have to find the exact right spot in a video to brush up on something.
05-10-2016
1:48 pm
B. — I still live in a place where my bandwidth is limited, so pictures work better than streaming video
05-10-2016
1:48 pm
I would prefer B. I feel more confident with printed material.
05-10-2016
1:49 pm
I like written instructions best. It is just easier for me.
05-10-2016
1:49 pm
A. when I’m doing something I’ve never done before it’s easier for me to see it done a replicate than go off instructions without a clear idea of what I’m working for.
05-10-2016
1:52 pm
I would prefer the printed information easier to work with.
05-10-2016
1:52 pm
Option B. I like watching and then printing so I have something to refer to.
05-10-2016
1:52 pm
A video is nice if you can’t figure something out from the printed instructions. But if I can only have one, then give me the printed instructions. I need to work at my own pace, one step at a time. Sue would be nice to have pictures, though.
05-10-2016
1:53 pm
B. I would like something to reference back to and printouts are perfect for that.
05-10-2016
1:54 pm
An online class with printable lessons. Option B
05-10-2016
1:56 pm
I would prefer the videos as long as they clearly show each step. Everyone has their own learning style-the videos would reach those folks that need visual & auditory presentations. I know my strength is through visual learning. Thank you for providing this giveaway.
05-10-2016
1:56 pm
If I can only choose one, it would have to be “in print!”
05-10-2016
1:57 pm
I would have to select B so I could refer back to the information any time I needed to. Thanks.
05-10-2016
1:58 pm
Print-versions have the better potential to last through generations of quilters.
05-10-2016
1:59 pm
I’d prefer B. I don’t want to have to watch a video on basic computer knowledge (how to save a file, how to navigate a menu, etc.) Just to learn one little fact about the program.
05-10-2016
2:00 pm
Online with printable instructions!
05-10-2016
2:01 pm
Videos is my preference if they are well constructed and the process is clearly visible. Being able to stop and start, pause and rewind makes it very easy to learn. However, really difficult and complex instructions are sometimes easier to absorb with a step by step printed guide. So whilst you don’t want me to say “both” it is true.
05-10-2016
2:01 pm
I prefer videos since I’m a visual learner (along with an option to print), however, since choice A wouldn’t have printables, I’d have to go with choice B.
05-10-2016
2:02 pm
I like choice A but would also like to have printable options with it.
05-10-2016
2:04 pm
I’ve been watching some of your youtube videos this week and really learning a lot so I would say A though I do also like the written lessons.
05-10-2016
2:04 pm
B. I like to have lessons to refer to while. I still have lessons on paper from Quilt University that offered EQ classes.
05-10-2016
2:05 pm
I like the video, to be able to see the application done is a big plus for me, but I also like to review, if the video lessons were available all the time after the initial class for review, with no expiration date, then I vote for A as an appropriate choice for me. I can make my own notes, and it would be easier for me to understand.
Thank you
05-10-2016
2:07 pm
B – Even though I often learn better watching videos, the printable lesson would be a great option.
05-10-2016
2:09 pm
Will have to say B as I like to have a printed reference but if I could I would say both. Videos are very nice but printed step by step is preferred.
05-10-2016
2:09 pm
Video lessons are very helpful, though occasionally I wish I could fast-forward through a section I already understand. Still, it’s very helpful to see someone move the mouse on the screen, select the correct menu choice, etc.
Thank you for having this contest!

05-10-2016
2:10 pm
I would prefer to have printed materials to be able to refer to as needed after the classes.
05-10-2016
2:11 pm
A – I learn better by watching and listening than reading.
05-10-2016
2:12 pm
B – printed documentation is always easier to go back to find an answer or go over a particular section.
05-10-2016
2:13 pm
I would prefer to learn using EQ by B. It would be easier for me to refer to a paper with instructions in front of me as I was working in EQ than having to refer to a video. Thanks for the chance to win!! I would love to take this step in my quilt making.
05-10-2016
2:14 pm
I like printed instructions and lessons. A video “tip” is great to help. but I need to “do as I go” and that is difficult with video lessons. They go at a faster pace, which is fine if I know the basics and want a refresher or a new tip, but if I am totally new, I find the video goes too fast for my to try as I go.
05-10-2016
2:15 pm
I much prefer to have written instructions. Video is OK if I am stuck on some point but you can always go back to printed matter again and again.
05-10-2016
2:15 pm
B. Love having something physical to refer back to.
05-10-2016
2:19 pm
I am very much a visual learner. I would prefer the online video lessons, as long as I could stop and rewind and watch again.
05-10-2016
2:23 pm
I prefer having printed instructions to refer back to.
05-10-2016
2:25 pm
I would prefer A. I am a visual learner and would like the videos.
05-10-2016
2:25 pm
I like B only because I can go back and review after a period of time if I would forget.
05-10-2016
2:27 pm
“B” would work better for me. Thank you for the opportunity.
05-10-2016
2:28 pm
I love to work with paper, so it would be “B”.
Best regards, Ursula
05-10-2016
2:29 pm
I would like B so I could review the material when needed.
05-10-2016
2:29 pm
I prefer on line WITH printed materials. Step by step videos are the best. They can be viewed again and again.
05-10-2016
2:30 pm
B. Online class with printable instructions.
05-10-2016
2:31 pm
B for me! I learn faster when I can follow printed step by step.
05-10-2016
2:31 pm
“A” definitely. I am a visual learner.
05-10-2016
2:32 pm
Would prefer B, printed materials. Easier to reference, and videos get frustrating if they keep going over stuff you know. Easier to skip ahead in print than fast forwarding a video – might miss something important.
05-10-2016
2:33 pm
Knowing that everything I want to know is somewhere in an EQ book – it’s still takes time to find the book and then find an answer. Simple written instructions – with LOTS OF ILLUSTRATIONS – are best. I can always refer back to them. Videos are ok – but I’d need to take notes, anyway, so I remember.
05-10-2016
2:33 pm
B I need the printed info to reference
05-10-2016
2:34 pm
Printable lessons so that I can refer back if I forget something (forgetting seems to happen more as you age) so a printed copy makes it easier for me.
05-10-2016
2:35 pm
A would be my choice.
05-10-2016
2:35 pm
A!
05-10-2016
2:36 pm
I prefer printed and lots of illustrations.
05-10-2016
2:36 pm
B. Online class with printable instructions
05-10-2016
2:36 pm
I need visuals…I pick videos, Choice A!
05-10-2016
2:38 pm
B. I find written information easier to follow and I can work at my own pace without need to start and stop a video. Much easier to find a spot to pick up again or refresh the information. I am old enough that I learn best from the printed page – especially when I can mark it up myself.
05-10-2016
2:40 pm
I’m torn. But I’m a visual learner so I will choose A video option.
05-10-2016
2:44 pm
My answer: B — I chose B, where one can learn at their own pace as well as print out lessons to access when video is not prudent. This is a much better option, in my opinion, because of the printouts. How many of us have magazine subscriptions? I know I have a few and have had for several years now. I keep them all. If I had to continuously jump back and forth between screens, pushing pause, minimizing, maximizing, etc., my eyes would cross — and forget about getting my pieces stitched straight after that! All kidding aside, after one has watched a lesson (offline), it’s a great option to be able to go back in and see it again without having to navigate back through the entire lesson via the printable versions. I want to spend the majority of my time quilting and designing my quilts, after all — not simply learning about those things, right?
05-10-2016
2:45 pm
I prefer vedio so I can see how it is done
05-10-2016
2:46 pm
I like printed material. I can make notes and generally remember sequences better.
05-10-2016
2:48 pm
A, I like videos!
05-10-2016
2:48 pm
A, videos!
05-10-2016
2:49 pm
B- printable lessons.
05-10-2016
2:49 pm
B. The printed page or pages saved to Dropbox are always on hand, I find it helpful to have the directions at hand when working through the lesson.

2:50 pm
I would have to take “B” the printable version. I forget too easily and need the reference to refer to.
I will way that if the video were related to an in-print book that would be ideal.
05-10-2016
2:50 pm
I like written instructions with lots of pictures.
05-10-2016
2:51 pm
I prefer videos!
05-10-2016
2:51 pm
I prefer A, I am a visual learner and as long as I can go back to the video or pause and rewind I would be great with this method.
05-10-2016
2:55 pm
I prefer A, video presentation are a great visual tool, as long as the video can be paused and rewound this is my preferred method.
05-10-2016
2:56 pm
I would prefer B.
05-10-2016
2:56 pm
I think I’d prefer video over print. If there something you don’t understand, you can repeat the video over and over. If you don’t understand print, there’s no further explanation.
05-10-2016
2:57 pm
Printable lessons!
05-10-2016
2:58 pm
I would prefer printable lessons.
05-10-2016
3:00 pm
B would be my choice. Would be able to make notes on printed information.
05-10-2016
3:00 pm
I think I would like the printed version better
05-10-2016
3:01 pm
Well, with only the 2 choices and no other background info, I will have to choose B – the printable instructions. Love the fabric bundles!
05-10-2016
3:02 pm
I would prefer written instructions.
05-10-2016
3:03 pm
Totally want the printed lesson. I learn by doing, not by listening. With the printed lesson I can work through the process while I read it.
05-10-2016
3:03 pm
B. I find printed material to be much more helpful.
05-10-2016
3:04 pm
Obviously, the optimum would be both, but I would have to go with B. Having written instructions to refer back to would be a plus for me.
05-10-2016
3:08 pm
B. I think it would be better to print so you can go back to it again if you need to .
05-10-2016
3:10 pm
I always need the printed back-up so i would have to say B.
05-10-2016
3:12 pm
Printed material – allows for continual review and reference.
05-10-2016
3:12 pm
Video lessons are nice, but I prefer printable lessons, Option B. Thanks.
05-10-2016
3:12 pm
I prefer an online class with printable course materials (assuming that the printed materials are clear and complete!).
05-10-2016
3:15 pm
B. I, like many others, prefer to work at my own pace and have hard copies that I can refer back to.
05-10-2016
3:18 pm
Printable instructions are nice for reference as long as there’s pictures.
05-10-2016
3:19 pm
B the printed instructions
05-10-2016
3:19 pm
On line with printable lessons.
05-10-2016
3:21 pm
B. I like to have hard copies or PDFs to refer to when quilting over videos.
05-10-2016
3:21 pm
B. I really find written backup handy for working out problems. Love to be able to write notes from my perspective to help me learn.
05-10-2016
3:22 pm
Option B I like printable material, but I also like a video to be able to see the lesson.
05-10-2016
3:22 pm
B – I would prefer to have the printed so that I can lean at my own pace. Also having it printed I can go back over things I would have trouble with or in time have forgotten how to do. Also not everyone has unlimited access to the internet, so printing would be best.
05-10-2016
3:23 pm
I prefer video lessons. There are other EQ printed resources available plus there’s always EQ Support! Happy Anniversary!
05-10-2016
3:24 pm
I prefer videos. I misinterpret written directions.
05-10-2016
3:24 pm
A would be fantastic. Seeing is so much easier than reading when learning how to use software!
05-10-2016
3:27 pm
A. I could watch the video more than once and take my own notes.
05-10-2016
3:27 pm
B I would prefer to have notes to refer to when I needed to refresh my memory on how to do something.
05-10-2016
3:31 pm
I would prefer an online class the print outs so I can refer back while using the program without having to watch a video over again.
05-10-2016
3:33 pm
I must with B! I love to have a Video to watch but later I NEED written step by step instructions! So I must go with B!
Hugs,
Betty
05-10-2016
3:33 pm
B-I do not enjoy videos. I feel they waste time when I can skim through written instructions and just concentrate on the ones that I need.
05-10-2016
3:35 pm
I would much prefer to have the printed information so Option B is my choice.
05-10-2016
3:38 pm
I love video lessons. I am a visual learner so I enjoy and learn better by watching a demonstration. If I am not able to choose an in person class like the EQ Academy, then I vote for video lessons.
05-10-2016
3:38 pm
B. But, it is a close call. I still like to have paper for referring back.
05-10-2016
3:39 pm
Option B – it is hard to watch a video and follow along in EQ at the same time, having printables to follow would be much better.
05-10-2016
3:41 pm
I prefer B so I can refer to the Printed material.
05-10-2016
3:41 pm
Option B – Online class with printable step-by-step lessons, then I can learn on my own schedule and have printable guides to help me.
05-10-2016
3:45 pm
I prefer Option B. I love having a binder of my class notes that I can refer to again and again, on my own time.
05-10-2016
3:46 pm
A – I’m a very visual person…reading it isn’t enough for me, I just zone out. lol
05-10-2016
3:46 pm
It would be “A” as I have the books that came with the software plus others. In all honesty, my favorite way to learn is to attend EQ again next year! Love being able to ask questions!
05-10-2016
3:46 pm
I would choose B, I like to have printed instructions
05-10-2016
3:47 pm
I like option b. better, having the lessons printed. It’s easier to look back if you can’t remember something.
05-10-2016
3:48 pm
B I like to be able to read instructions over and over.
05-10-2016
3:51 pm
I like written instructions to refer to, but sometimes I can get bogged down in them. So I vote for “A”.
05-10-2016
3:51 pm
That is a tough question. As a visual learner, I would have to go with A, as long as I could watch over and over again.
05-10-2016
3:55 pm
Prefer B as I am a visual person and like to refer back to written instructions, always.
05-10-2016
4:02 pm
A, I think videos would be nice!
05-10-2016
3:58 pm
A…online class with full video lessons
05-10-2016
3:58 pm
B – I learn with the written word best
05-10-2016

b
05-10-2016
4:00 pm
Prefer B; like to have to have something written when watching a video.
05-10-2016
4:03 pm
I’d say I prefer written instructions, so b is my answer!
05-10-2016
4:04 pm
B. I like to be able to find exactly what I want without having to scroll back and for and to be able to take to my cutting table or my work table.
05-10-2016
4:07 pm
B – It would be easier for me to have written instructions to refer to as I work through each step.
05-10-2016
4:07 pm
Option B. I like printable.
05-10-2016
4:09 pm
I would prefer B. I like being able to refer to printed materials.
05-10-2016
4:09 pm
B. I like printables.
05-10-2016
4:10 pm
Option A definitely !
05-10-2016
4:14 pm
Option A – I can generally learn how to use software on my own, but seeing how someone else applies the software would be most meaningful to me. I can always refer to a software manual, but watching someone else in action would have more meaning for me! Thanks for hosting this giveaway!!
05-10-2016
4:15 pm
A – definitely. I would much rather have videos, I guess I’m just a visual learner.
05-10-2016
4:17 pm
A, with videos. I like using written instructions on my own, but having the videos would be an added help. I love the videos that are included with the software, and they made it much easier to start using EQ.
05-10-2016
4:18 pm
B. I find the paper directions easier to refer to.
05-10-2016
4:18 pm
B I like a paper copy.

B – I prefer to have something written that I can refer to after the class is over. I don’t always catch everything the instructors say, and the words in print really help me do things the right way.
05-10-2016
4:20 pm
B. I need the reference. Yet I do really well when I watch someone. It imprints better in this aging brain. Of course you don’t want to hear both because that is the best option. I do know that somehow you’ll make it all be great.
05-10-2016
4:20 pm
B) I like to have a printed set of notes to refer back after a class is finished
05-10-2016
4:21 pm
B. Prefer the printed material.
05-10-2016
4:22 pm
I would prefer B that way I can learn at my own passe.
05-10-2016
4:28 pm
I much prefer selection B (online class with printable step-by-step lessons) – I am an analytical learner and pick-up quickly from reading – plus, I like having a printed reference when needed…I rather spend my time sewing/quilting/creating instead of watching a video.
05-10-2016
4:28 pm
Option A. I’m just realizing how useful video tutorials are, and I love being able to watch someone go through all the steps – and make mistakes, too. Watching someone else click the wrong thing – and recover – is a great way to reduce the fear associated with trying something new.
05-10-2016
4:31 pm
Hard one. Printable instructions. Clear and concise printable instructions are easier to use since you can learn at your own pace and review previous progress . But I do love the video. The video introduces you to topics that you would not have considered otherwise. Good for tips as well as detailed instruction.
05-10-2016
4:32 pm
B -I prefer handouts
05-10-2016
4:33 pm
B I prefer to refer back to printables
05-10-2016
4:33 pm
I would prefer B. I like to have hard copies.
05-10-2016
4:34 pm
B would be my preference
05-10-2016
4:35 pm
A wins. But it’s a close call.
05-10-2016
4:38 pm
I think B. I like videos but I love having lessons I can save and look back at and page through. Love my Electric Quilt!!!
05-10-2016
4:39 pm
Option B – It is much easier to a written reference while you are working in a program.
05-10-2016
4:41 pm
I choose B. I think better with a pencil in my hand and paper on my desk.
05-10-2016
4:42 pm
I think A, if you can watch it over and over again, like on Craftsy.
05-10-2016
4:46 pm
It is easy to forget visual instructions, especially if you don’t use them long enough to embed the process. Printed backup is faster and is always available to refresh the memory.
05-10-2016
4:50 pm
printable steps please
05-10-2016
4:51 pm
I would like option A
05-10-2016
4:55 pm
Option B would work better for me.
05-10-2016
4:56 pm
B took online courses before and after the course, I had refer to the notes.
05-10-2016
4:57 pm
Since I actually have to choose between the two, I’m going to have to say B.
05-10-2016
4:59 pm
I love video instructions, even if I do have to watch them several times to remember the details. A picture is worth a thousand words, and a video is worth a million!
05-10-2016
4:59 pm
I would prefer to learn EQ with online class with a video lesson. I never print out things anymore, too much waste. If it is online I can watch again when I need to.
05-10-2016
5:02 pm
I would choose “B.” I do like videos because like audio tapes you can not pinpoint a specific place that you want to remember, or go back to see/listen again.
05-10-2016
5:05 pm
Option A.
I’m visual .
05-10-2016
5:08 pm
B
05-10-2016
5:08 pm
B-I would rather have printed lessons so I can refer to them OFTEN. Don’t get me wrong……I also love your videos but it’s harder to go back through a video to find my “problem solver”.
05-10-2016
5:08 pm
Printed step by step
05-10-2016
5:08 pm
Option A
05-10-2016
5:10 pm
Let’s get it
05-10-2016
5:11 pm
I prefer A, despite videos taking long to load up.
05-10-2016
5:13 pm
I prefer B step by step so I can read it anytime I need them.
05-10-2016
5:14 pm
B I like having something to look at and refer back to when I am doing it myself.
05-10-2016
5:19 pm
I would prefer video and thank you for the opportunity to win.
05-10-2016
5:25 pm
I think I would prefer B as I seem to have a short memory these days. With B I could go back and check my memory. Thank you very much for your wonderful give a ways and for your software, EQ7 I had EQ5 years ago and it was great until my computer crashed and I lost every thing. Henri
05-10-2016
5:26 pm
B!
05-10-2016
5:28 pm
B – I’m a visual and detail learner.
05-10-2016
5:28 pm
I would prefer option B
05-10-2016
5:29 pm
Option B would be the best choice for me. I like to have a printed resource that I can refer to.
05-10-2016
5:32 pm
B – I like to have printed out directions!
05-10-2016
5:34 pm
Since I can’t choose both video and printed which I think is the BEST option….I choose ‘B’
05-10-2016
5:34 pm
Option B would be my choice.
05-10-2016
5:39 pm
Option B is for me! I like to keep notebookson learning materials!!
05-10-2016
5:40 pm
I’d prefer B. I’m a refer back at your leisure kind of girl
05-10-2016
5:42 pm
I choose option B – I’m sure it will be helpful to view the video but I always like to have printed directions. I seem to learn better by having written directions to refer to over and over again.
05-10-2016
5:45 pm
I prefer to have the booklets. As time goes by and a new project comes along I would be able to go look something up in a book. Videos come and go but a book is always available. Also, I can write explanations in the margins but not on a video. My choice would be B.
05-10-2016
5:45 pm
B – I like to be able to study the lessons when not at my computer.
05-10-2016
5:47 pm
I tend to get impatient with video, since I read and comprehend much faster than that, so I prefer printables (but PDFs, right? I don’t actually want anything on physical paper!).
05-10-2016
5:50 pm
B. Online class with printable step-by-step lessons (no videos)
I am able to learn better this way and I don’t have a lot of time to watch a video
05-10-2016
5:50 pm
Online class with printable lessons
05-10-2016
5:52 pm
Definitely A-video! Craftsy classes are done this way and they are very effective learning tools. The videos are accessible forever once you subscribe to them. Most are around $40 but they do go on sale periodically. I think a very large target audience could be captured by offering the video classes at a reasonable price. It doesn’t require travel, can be viewed anytime of the day or night and can be viewed as many times as needed. You are able to learn at your own speed depending on your skill level and experience with technology.
05-10-2016
5:54 pm
A
05-10-2016
5:55 pm
B – I like to learn at my own pace. Videos usually move through things to quickly. It’s also easier to refer back for information when it’s printed.
05-10-2016
5:55 pm
Definitely B.
05-10-2016
5:56 pm
B. I’ve taken on line classes on EQ inthe past. The classes were through Quilt University, and were printable lessons. For EQ5, and I still refer back to the lessons materials. Their format was done with Threads and you could print those as well.
05-10-2016
5:57 pm
B
05-10-2016
6:02 pm
B please. Much easier to go back and review.
05-10-2016
6:02 pm
A- I can learn from printed materials, but I learn more when I hear and see the material I’m trying to learn.
05-10-2016
6:05 pm
Most definitely A, online videos at my time of day in Aussieland when I want….
05-10-2016
6:08 pm
I would prefer the A. That would be more like a classroom setting. Thanks for the giveaway.
05-10-2016
6:08 pm
Unless you have 2 screens, there does an age where a paper copy of instructions comes in handy, especially when there are multiple steps.
B.thanks
05-10-2016
6:08 pm
Definitely A, it has to be visual or it would be waste of time for me.
05-10-2016
6:10 pm
I would like to see printable lessons, rather than video’s. We have to pay for our internet bandwidth and it gets rather expensive to have something that is streaming, so the old fashioned way would be best for me. Thank you for asking.
05-10-2016
6:12 pm
Although I am a visual learner, I would choose ‘B’ because I would definitely need printable instructions to refer back to.
05-10-2016
6:13 pm
I would prefer the printed material
05-10-2016
6:14 pm
Definitely “B. Online class with printable step-by-step lessons (no videos).” I can read through instructions much more quickly than watching a video, plus they written instructions are easier to refer back to to clarify or remember a point. Besides, I’m hard of hearing and frequently can’t understand everything that is said even with my new hearing aid.
05-10-2016
6:14 pm
B is my choice. I like having printables to make notes and to refer to later. Too bad one choice wasn’t for all three: on-line class with video and printables.
05-10-2016
8:55 pm
I prefer printed lessons. I would select option B.
05-10-2016
6:15 pm
B I prefer both ways!
05-10-2016
6:15 pm
I would prefer A. I need to learn mine.
05-10-2016
6:16 pm
I would prefer printed soI can have it right there.
05-10-2016
6:17 pm
B
05-10-2016
6:17 pm
That is a hard one! I like to the print-outs to refer to, but watching it does make it easier. And since I have 2 computer monitors hooked up to my computer, I can watch and do at the same time. So my choice would be A.
05-10-2016
6:21 pm
A watching easier for me than printing all that stuff out
05-10-2016
6:21 pm
B would be my choice because I would have ‘hard copy’ to refer back to. I still think practice is the best teacher of all.
05-10-2016
6:22 pm
A
05-10-2016
6:23 pm
B. Being able to refer back to material and not flip between screens is really helpful when learning on the computer.
05-10-2016
6:24 pm
I like printed lessons so I can go back at any time but to see it once would be helpful. They always go too fast for me.
05-10-2016
6:28 pm
A
05-10-2016
6:28 pm
I think B would be good.
05-10-2016
6:33 pm
A but I would prefer to have a choice of also using printable material that went along with the lesson.
05-10-2016
6:33 pm
A would work great for me. I can watch video over if it didn’t click the first time.
05-10-2016
6:36 pm
I would prefer option “A”.
05-10-2016
6:44 pm
B. That “old school” hard copy preference is hard to shake.
05-10-2016
6:48 pm
B, easier to go back and check notes
05-10-2016
6:50 pm
B. I want the hard copy to go back over later on
05-10-2016
6:54 pm
If I can rematch the videos numerous times then I’d like this method. Otherwise the printable. Both would be my ideal preference.
05-10-2016
6:56 pm
B. except what would be online if it wasn’t a video? I’ve purchased a couple of your books and I like the step by step instructions.
05-10-2016
6:57 pm
A would be better for me.
05-10-2016
7:00 pm
B – I might not print everything, but I need that option. Especially for those features that I don’t use very often. I like having the instructions at the ready.
05-10-2016
7:00 pm
A
05-10-2016
7:05 pm
Definitely A, I like watching!
05-10-2016
7:06 pm
I choose B. Prefer to have papers in front of me when doing the task.

7:06 pm
B. This way I am able to go back and review at a later date.
05-10-2016

A would be great!
05-10-2016
7:08 pm

05-10-2016
7:12 pm
B I can reread the lessons.
05-10-2016
7:14 pm
I prefer option B. I like to be able to refer to the lessons later.
05-10-2016
7:19 pm
I prefer A
05-10-2016
7:23 pm
I prefer B. I like to have materials to refer back to.
05-10-2016
7:25 pm
I choose B since I can follow the directions and it would be less expensive
05-10-2016
7:29 pm
a Online class with full video lessons (no printable lessons)
05-10-2016
7:29 pm
If I have to choose only one, I would prefer A.
05-10-2016
7:30 pm
That’s a tough one but I think I would prefer B.
05-10-2016
7:31 pm
I vote A – hopefully the video access would always be available !! I definitely learn by watching !
05-10-2016
7:32 pm
B but I’ both.
05-10-2016
7:32 pm
I just attended EQ Academy, and I have also enjoyed EQ online classes without video. The lively presentation by teachers is invaluable, but to reinforce learning an outline is important. Barb Vlack, my academy teacher, had lively presentations AND great, detailed handouts. How about video presentations with download PDF outlines?
05-10-2016
7:33 pm
I would prefer online class with printable lessons
05-10-2016
7:34 pm
b, with out videos. I never find time to watch them
05-10-2016
7:35 pm
‘A’ works for me! I love to learn from videos.
05-10-2016
7:42 pm
I would prefer A as I’m more of a visual learner.
05-10-2016
7:45 pm
Definitely B–I have a couple of the EQ books and find that I refer back to them for specific quilts–there’s so much in EQ that I may not use those tools, etc for each quilt and need to refer back at times.
05-10-2016
7:47 pm
My preference is A, as I can follow the videos as I am learning, pause and playback when I find something difficult.
05-10-2016
7:48 pm
I would choose A if the videos are very complete. Preferably all three. What a pain I am.
05-10-2016
7:49 pm
Since I can only choose one, then make it “A”. As so many others, I would prefer all the above.
05-10-2016
7:52 pm
I would prefer B. I need to something to refer to after the lesson.
05-10-2016
7:54 pm
It depends. I guess A. Generally I prefer to have something to refer to, but sometimes I don’t want to waste paper printing things out.
05-10-2016
7:55 pm
I prefer the printed where I can make my own notes that only mean something to me. Sometimes I only need to check one little thing and the printed copy is faster for me than anything else.
05-10-2016
7:56 pm
B printable instructions so I can go back and refer to them.
05-10-2016
7:56 pm

05-10-2016
7:57 pm
I’m one of the older generation that still like paper! I like to be able to make notes on my lessons, and go at my own pace!
05-10-2016
8:00 pm
B – it’s nice to have the option to print as needed.
05-10-2016
8:02 pm
I learned EQ7 hands on by reading the manual and trying the modules one chapter at a time. I use the manual often to remind me of details I may have forgotten. I like doing the lessons also to learn a new technique.
05-10-2016
8:04 pm
I choose B.
05-10-2016
8:05 pm

05-10-2016
8:08 pm

8:14 pm
B is my choice so I can right notes and review the lesson(s) without using my computer.
05-10-2016
8:15 pm
A. I need to see it, then practice it. I don’t use the manual as much as I should to learn the software, so the videos might inspire me to get my hands on the keyboard and start really learning all EQ7 can do.
05-10-2016
8:17 pm
B is my choice to allow for note taking and later a review when I am waiting at a Dr’s office or just “cooling my jets” after a busy day.
05-10-2016
8:18 pm
B. I like step by step, that way I can work at my own pace.
05-10-2016
8:19 pm
I would like B Sometimes it gets tiresome to constantly back up and review again.
05-10-2016
8:23 pm
I would prefer A as long as I could watch at my leisure.
05-10-2016
8:24 pm
I would prefer B, online classes and printables.
05-10-2016
8:27 pm

9:17 pm
Printed form please.
05-10-2016
9:18 pm
Videos are a good starting point but if something takes a bit of time to understand, I think the printables would enable me to go over the same point many times to ‘get’it so I go for B.
05-10-2016
9:20 pm
B
05-10-2016
9:27 pm

05-10-2016
9:43 pm

05-10-2016
9:44 pm
B — I would like to print the lessons and keep them for reference.
05-10-2016
9:44 pm
A

Of these two choices I prefer printed materials. These are nice to refer back to as needed when working with the software.
05-10-2016

B- I like to have a reference for when I forget. I can read the instructions more than once if I dont understand.
05-10-2016
9:47 pm
B so I can follow along at my own pace
05-10-2016
9:47 pm
I prefer option A, but would like the option to have printable lessons as well. Sometimes I only need to review a portion of a lesson, so it can be time-consuming to re-watch the whole video.
05-10-2016
9:53 pm
A- I do better when I see how to do something. Reading it doesn’t always make sense to me.
05-10-2016
9:57 pm
B! I learn best by reading, then doing hands-on. I still have all my printed out lessons from Quilt University from Patti and Fran…and I do still refer to them sometimes!
05-10-2016
10:01 pm

05-10-2016
10:11 pm
Option A would be my choice. That way I can compare what video shows to my screen.
05-10-2016
10:12 pm
Definitely A! I feel that I can learn much more by watching and observing than by reading!
05-10-2016
10:12 pm
I love videos but I find I can learn much better from written instructions. So I’d have to say I’d prefer Option B.
05-10-2016
10:13 pm
B for me. I always like to have printed material (or PDF) available to view)
05-10-2016
10:15 pm
I would rather have online classes
05-10-2016
10:17 pm
I would prefer B – that way I could print out lessons and continue to refresh myself — although both would be the best alternative!!
05-10-2016
10:18 pm
Let’s make it happen
05-10-2016
10:19 pm
I would prefer A with anytime access to video lesson. Visuals are the best way for me to learn an new technique.
05-10-2016
10:19 pm
B – Then I could print out the directions and refer back to them later
05-10-2016
10:22 pm
B. I love online classes but love hard copy to make notes and reference again later.
05-10-2016
10:24 pm
I prefer A…as long as I can view it as many times as I want. Things just make more sense to me if I can see it done.
Thanks!
05-10-2016
10:25 pm
I like to have the printed instructions so I would say B. Thanks for the generous giveaway.
05-10-2016
10:25 pm
I would say A. I think viewing and hands-on works every time!
05-10-2016
10:36 pm
I would say ‘B”; that way I can print the instructions and follow along as needed.
05-10-2016
10:37 pm
B even though it uses trees. I like to take my time following the directions and having them to refer to at a later date
05-10-2016
10:37 pm
I think I would prefer the printable lessons so that I could review them as needed.
05-10-2016
10:43 pm
I think B is more helpful.
05-10-2016
10:44 pm
Choice B would be best for me. With printouts you can always go back and quickly find the reference or steps you are looking for.
05-10-2016
10:46 pm
B–Having EQ7 open at same time as video sounds awkward. Also when reviewing, I find scanning printed material easier than searching videos.
05-10-2016
10:48 pm
I prefer A. It is easier to understand instructions when you can see some one actually doing the task. Written material can be left open to interpretation at times.
05-10-2016
10:51 pm
B like to be able to go back over things to learn better
05-10-2016
10:52 pm
I prefer B. I like printable instructions because they are easy to refer back to.
05-10-2016
10:52 pm
A. Online classes with full video lessons. Having the ability to watch what someone is doing is highly beneficial. You can pause the video, try the process yourself to see how it works or if you miss a step go back and watch it again.
05-10-2016
10:53 pm
I think I would like an online class with full video. To see how each step is done and proceed to the next step.
05-10-2016
10:54 pm
I think option B would be great! Thanks and God bless!
05-10-2016
11:00 pm
I would want B–the printable lessons would be a wonderful long lasting resource.
05-10-2016
11:02 pm
A video
05-10-2016
11:05 pm
I would take choice B as you could work through the lessons at your pace with video to help you understand and show you how the program works.
05-10-2016
11:05 pm
A
05-10-2016
11:07 pm
B I would like to be able to print the material for reference.
05-10-2016
11:10 pm
B would be my choice because I learn by doing it myself, but need the steps to follow and repetition to remember it
05-10-2016
11:25 pm
I like classes with print-outs that I can refer back to later.
05-10-2016
11:26 pm
Option “B”. I’m still old school and like printed instructions that I can make notes on and/or highlight.
05-10-2016
11:33 pm
A – I’m a visual learner. However, I would hope the videos would be available to replay as needed.
05-10-2016
11:43 pm
B – I like having the printed version to refer to!
05-10-2016
11:49 pm
I would say A.
05-10-2016
11:52 pm
I would choose B as my ideal way to learn. I need to see and refer back to information.
05-10-2016
11:54 pm
A
05-11-2016
12:01 am
I like B
05-11-2016
12:04 am
I would prefer to learn by video.
05-11-2016
12:06 am
I like the video option better. I design machine embroidered quilts and find it is very difficult to convey instructions in written form. Everyone processes information differently.
05-11-2016
12:07 am
A-please…show me once and I can learn!
05-11-2016
12:08 am
B. Prefer printed instruction
05-11-2016
12:12 am
I would say B. Printed material to refresh ones memory or go over again is how I retain new information the best!
05-11-2016
12:13 am
I would chose “A”.
05-11-2016
12:18 am
A – I like videos so I can go back and look up them. Plus they do not take up as much shelf room.
05-11-2016
12:20 am
I would like B.
05-11-2016
12:20 am
B- printed copy makes it easier to go back and review.
05-11-2016
12:25 am
I’d take B.
05-11-2016
12:29 am
I would choose. B. Online class with printable step-by-step lessons (no videos). But with a video or two for added help.
05-11-2016
12:29 am
I like to print out my instructions when I can so B would be best. To bad we cant get it both ways because that would be really great.
05-11-2016
12:32 am
I also would prefer option B so that I can have the printed instructions on hand when I need them
05-11-2016
12:45 am
Definitely B for me, as many times video go slower than I can go
05-11-2016
12:45 am
I think I would prefer online video, but with the ability to stop and take notes and practice the directions. It’s interesting to see how others learn, so I think both should be actually offered. Not everyone will want to print the lesson, but most would want time to take notes and practice.
05-11-2016
12:54 am
Definitely A!
05-11-2016
1:00 am
If I could choose only one, it would be “B”, because I would need to refer back to the notes again and again, I’m sure.
05-11-2016
1:09 am
Definitely would select B. Always handy to have written directions along with video
05-11-2016
1:41 am
I prefer A. Learn better by watching and being able follow along.
05-11-2016
1:51 am
Definitly b
05-11-2016
1:59 am
I think A
05-11-2016
2:02 am
I choose you because I am not English powerful it is sometimes very difficult to understand EQ7, video lessons can be understood in any language?
05-11-2016
2:09 am
A. I could replay something I didn’t quite catch the first time and also endeavor to be more environmentally friendly by not printing off so much paper.
05-11-2016
2:09 am
I would prefer A.
05-11-2016
2:28 am
A for me.
05-11-2016
2:38 am
Option B, please.
05-11-2016
2:49 am
I vote for the printable version. I can highlight sections that I will use many times or that give me trouble. Can also add notes of my own (ie do this for that project).
05-11-2016
3:01 am
I would pick B. The more notes the better for me.
05-11-2016
3:04 am
I would much prefer A!
05-11-2016
3:10 am
A for sure.
05-11-2016
3:24 am
I would say A because I am a visual learner to me it is the quickest way to learn.
05-11-2016
3:44 am
I would choose A. I would follow along and try techniques with my software all at the same time.
05-11-2016
3:55 am
I prefer the printed page so I could have it right beside me as I am working through the steps.
05-11-2016
3:55 am
I would say B as it’s handy to refer to written instructions to check on your progress
05-11-2016
4:11 am
I would prefer A.
05-11-2016
4:36 am
If I had to choose I would go with A. I like to be able to see it done I can always rewatch or take notes.
05-11-2016
4:43 am
I would like to keep the instructions for reference. Even though I am a visual learner, getting older tends to leave one with a somewhat shorter retention ability. I prefer to have notes to prompt my memory.
Thank you,
Wanda
05-11-2016
4:46 am
I learn computing information better with written materials like Option B, because I need the paperwork to help me with the ‘petty details’ that I would miss in the excitement of watching a video. I learn machine quilting (a practical skill) better by video.
05-11-2016
4:55 am
I prefer the printable version.
05-11-2016
5:04 am
A. I am a visual learner, and love the pause / rewind buttons.
05-11-2016
5:12 am
A
05-11-2016
5:13 am
I would choose B so I could watch the video then follow the step by step instructions at my own pace. I like to watch then do.
05-11-2016
5:20 am
A
05-11-2016
12:44 pm
I prefer written instructions. It is difficult to remember all the steps
05-11-2016
6:01 am
Option B – having a printable version for quick reference would be easier for me than having to find the right spot in a video lesson.
05-11-2016
6:28 am
A video lesson works best for me!
05-11-2016
6:36 am
B Printable lesson
05-11-2016
6:45 am
A or B, both would be good. How about video with printed instructions?
05-11-2016
10:40 am
That would great for me too
05-11-2016
6:49 am
I like A better.
05-11-2016
6:54 am
I prefer videos
05-11-2016
6:54 am
I prefer A
05-11-2016
7:06 am
B. I like videos, but when I want to really learn something I do better with written instructions!
05-11-2016
7:18 am
I prefer printed. Videos are bad for early mornings. I hate to wake up others in my house.
05-11-2016
7:18 am
If I could only choose one, I’d go with B. printable lessons. Though I would definitely prefer both.
05-11-2016
7:19 am
Option B please. I learn better with lessons printed out that I can study and review. : )
05-11-2016
7:21 am
B – that way I can take my time or fit it into my schedule even if it has to be a little step at a time.
05-11-2016
7:25 am
A
05-11-2016
7:28 am
B would be my preferred choice.
05-11-2016
7:28 am
A
05-11-2016
7:52 am
B. Easier to refer back to after the class is over.
05-11-2016
8:00 am
Option B for me.
05-11-2016
8:14 am
A…online class with full video lessons
05-11-2016
8:30 am
i am voting for B ….as for me i request you write the instructions as though you are teaching a first grader….when you are watching the online class you are totally focused…you think..ok i got this….it is now 10pm…i am on my own…and everything is now clear as mud
very clear and very concise directions are so important.
thanks for the great give-a-ways!
05-11-2016
8:34 am
B. With printed instructions it is easier for me to actually physically follow the steps using my computer. It would also help to have illustrations with the written instructions. I would like to have both but since I have to choose B would be my choice.
05-11-2016
10:29 am
Me too
05-11-2016
8:37 am
B. I like having written instructions that I can refer back to after the class. It also means I don’t have to take lots of notes during the class and can simply focus on what’s being taught.
05-11-2016
8:42 am
Option B. I like to be able to look at the directions as I am working through a lesson.
05-11-2016
8:43 am
Option B. I like to have the printed instructions near as I am working through the lesson.
05-11-2016
8:43 am
A- I love a good video tutorial!
05-11-2016
8:44 am
Option B. I like having the printed instructions near as I am working through a lesson.
05-11-2016
8:48 am
A
05-11-2016
8:49 am
B. prefer written instructions to refer back to and make notes on.
05-11-2016
9:14 am
Option B. It would be so much easier to refer back to printed materials when in a pinch.
05-11-2016
9:30 am
B. then I have the Print outs to refer to without viewing a video.
05-11-2016
9:33 am
Option B; I prefer having written instructions to refer to.
05-11-2016
9:36 am
Option A. is the best — you can review the video any time you want to — don’t like too much paper in the work area.
05-11-2016
9:44 am
B – printable instructions
05-11-2016
9:46 am
A. Online with video so I can use my Ipad by sewing machine
05-11-2016
9:53 am
A as long as I could access the lessons anytime and all the time
05-11-2016
9:57 am
I would prefer written instructions.
05-11-2016
9:59 am
I like printed instructions. I don’t seem to remember instructions on videos.
05-11-2016
10:06 am
Definitely a printable lesson, so I can refer back to it often as needed. Something set up the way the tutorials are would be perfect!
05-11-2016
10:10 am
B, I like to have printed reference material.
05-11-2016
10:23 am
I prefer both If I had to choose one it would be (B) I like having the printed instructions near as I am working through a video lesson. That way I can write notes on the printable
05-11-2016
10:29 am
b
05-11-2016
10:33 am
I would do an online class with printable step by step instructions. I need to be able to touch the paper and have two pages up at one time. I start and stop video too much.
05-11-2016
10:39 am
Definitely ‘B’. I find it easier to learn and review lessons at my own speed, also I can look at the printed lesson while having my EQ7 open to follow the steps. Plus I can look up points of interest even when I’m not on the internet.
05-11-2016
10:42 am
I am much happier working with paper, so option B would be my choice.
05-11-2016
10:44 am
I would like working with paper instead of video. Too much clicking back and forth.
05-11-2016
10:44 am
option b: it is easier to refer to a printout at a later date.
05-11-2016
10:50 am
I would like “B”. Printed materials are easier to use.
05-11-2016
10:57 am
I like option A because it would be helpful to have a printout.
05-11-2016
11:05 am
I definitely would opt for A
Thank you
Sandra
05-11-2016
11:09 am
A, videos are great.
05-11-2016
11:10 am
I prefer B. I can go at my own pace not the one set by a video,. Can easily go back to look at previous material – a video makes it hard to find the place in the small frame strip. Videos don’t always have the best view of a step. verbal instructions on a film can’t be reread. I don’t mind an added video where I can see it done but the hard copy is more reliable and ususally better edited.
05-11-2016
11:10 am
printable step by step lessons
05-11-2016
11:12 am
B, please. And I would LOVE to have them read like the EQ 2 book did….do a few things, congrats -go get a cup of coffee….wonder how many remember that!?
05-11-2016
11:18 am
A! I want to watch it happen.
05-11-2016
11:23 am
I prefer option B with printable step by step for easy referral.
05-11-2016
11:26 am
B – for easy reference
05-11-2016
11:52 am
A – video, it is the greener choice. Right now the lessons I have taken require nearly 30 pages of printing – yowsa! then I have to find a way to store it and keep it organized. We already have permanent access when we buy – so I can always refer back to a lesson if I want.
05-11-2016
12:01 pm
I like to have handouts so I can review and review. So B would be the logical choice for me. Thanks.
05-11-2016
12:02 pm
B. I like to have the printed instructions next to my computer. I can’t “do” and watch at the same time. I often use my computer resources to print out instructions if a PFD isn’t included.
05-11-2016
12:18 pm
B. I like to have it in print to refer to at my leisure. And for those worried about actually printing the instructions, I save them to an app such as Evernote and refer to them from that rather than printing.
05-11-2016
12:20 pm
A i’m an auto and visual learner.
05-11-2016
12:22 pm
B I would rather have a printed version to refer to as I’m working.
05-11-2016
12:28 pm
B.
05-11-2016
12:28 pm
I’d prefer B so I could print; then review later.
05-11-2016
12:35 pm
B
05-11-2016
12:51 pm
Online class with printable instructions for future reference.
05-11-2016
1:00 pm
Option B
05-11-2016
1:02 pm
Definately Option “B”. If I read it, I retain it. Not so with visual aids.
05-11-2016
1:04 pm
I would choose A – full video lessons – as long as they are always accessible to refer back to later on.
05-11-2016
1:06 pm
I would prefer B – with printed instructions. This way they can be referred to again and again. Thanks!
05-11-2016
1:12 pm
Option B, with printable instructions!
05-11-2016
1:17 pm
B -although I am a visual learner the written instructions are great to add notes and to refer to later.
05-11-2016
1:23 pm
I would prefer the printable instructions to hold in my lap and look over once I get on my own without a video making it look so easy. I always think I know what I’m doing after watching a video, but slow as my reflexes are, I sometimes cannot remember what to do once I find the right button to click!
05-11-2016
1:32 pm
A- online class with video! I can always refer back to the way you’ve shown me but may repeat a mistake if I ‘re-read’ written directions!
05-11-2016
1:36 pm
A. Save the forest.
05-11-2016
1:37 pm
A
05-11-2016
1:38 pm
I prefer written instructions so I can refer to them at any later time.
05-11-2016
1:42 pm
Option A
05-11-2016
2:07 pm
Option A! I love video these days…
05-11-2016
2:14 pm
Option B id my preference. Videos confuse me and I can’t remember the steps. WHen I have printed materials I can repeat and review until I “get” it.
05-11-2016
2:15 pm
B as it is hard for me to remember all the details and steps. To save trees, put the writing in PDF format. That way I can save it and review it later when questions arise.
05-11-2016
2:15 pm
Videos are helpful…but like the Printed version best…easier to look up right spot too.. I choose Version B
Thank you for chance to win your Give-a-way too!
05-11-2016
2:21 pm
A – Much as I’d like something printable to refer to specific parts of a lesson, I would rather not have the option to print something out. Even a portable document format is too tempting to print out, possibly several times, wasting paper and ink. Videos provide audio and visual lessons that seem to stay with me longer.
05-11-2016
2:26 pm
B I prefer a printed reference.
05-11-2016
3:16 pm
If I can only have it one way or the other, I prefer B. Step by step written directions. For me, the ideal really is the disallowed answer of “both.” The ideal learning scenario is to watch the video and then have the written step-by-step to refer to while I work in EQ to practice what I had learned.
05-11-2016
3:17 pm
Printed instructions to keep as reference are best for me.
05-11-2016
3:34 pm
B would be best for me.
05-11-2016
3:40 pm
I think option A, as long as it is easily paused and back-tracked a little (over and over!).
05-11-2016
4:06 pm
Definitely B. Online class with printable step-by-step lessons (no videos)
I really like to refer to and view hard copy instructions.
05-11-2016
4:15 pm
B so I don’t have to have the computer charged at the same time I am learning
05-11-2016
4:19 pm
A
05-11-2016
4:24 pm
IF Ii can only have one method, I would prefer written, printable instructions because it is easy to refer back to them later. I am a visual learner though so I would love having access to both!
05-11-2016
4:31 pm
I prefer the written instructions – easier to refer to.
05-11-2016
4:33 pm
(B) I prefer printable directions
05-11-2016
4:53 pm
I would prefer B although you’re making me choose between two very good learning methods.
05-11-2016
5:20 pm
I do best with printed material! I always print out your PDF lessons.
05-11-2016
5:31 pm
I choose B. Going step by step with written instruction helps me to retain what I am being taught.
05-11-2016
5:47 pm
B
05-11-2016
5:53 pm
I prefer “A” with video lessons.
05-11-2016
6:20 pm
Videos are easier for me to understand and learn by but I know they are probably more time consuming for you.
05-11-2016
6:24 pm
If one is forced to choose, I would have to say B.
05-11-2016
6:44 pm
I would choose B as i have limited download and i can also look at the next step or go back a set if i have do not understand or find the icon
05-11-2016
6:54 pm
Hmmm. I suppose A would work for me. I’m a visual learner.
05-11-2016
7:01 pm
I’d have to say B, although it’s more how to ask questions/clarify that I’d be more concerned about.
05-11-2016
7:12 pm
If I can only pick one, I would say B – my laptop has a smaller screen; hard to toggle between online and the software.
05-11-2016
7:16 pm
I would have to choose ‘B’, to have the choice of printing.
05-11-2016
7:20 pm
I think I would rather have videos to watch. I learn better seeing than reading.
