We’ve worked with Sue Spargo before and she is the nicest, sweetest lady… a joy to work with. There is an article about her work in the October issue of American Patchwork and Quilting (pages 17-20).
Sue calls her work “contemporary folk art” and that seems very fitting. Her quilts often have birds, bees and flowers in bright wools with beads and lots of hand stitching. The results are a little funky, sometimes whimsical, but always wonderful.
And, check out her sewing room… who’s jealous?
You can see more of her work at her website www.suespargo.com and in her EQ program Folk-Art Dreams.
