Teacher, designer and author, Linda Hahn does!

Linda J. Hahn is known for her easy teaching style and high energy she brings to her classes. She takes complex looking projects and breaks them down into very simple and do-able steps. She is best known for her ONE PIN technique for creating perfect New York Beauty blocks using just one pin.

Linda is a multiple award winning author – having five books with the American Quilter’s Society (four of those winning awards)  New York Beauty Simplified (Bronze Medal winner – 2011 Independent Publishers Living Now Book Awards and AQS Best Seller), New York Beauty Diversified (Gold Medal winner – 2013 Independent Publishers Living Now Book Awards), Rock that Quilt Block – Weathervane (2015 Independent Publishers Living Now Book Awards) Rock that Quilt Block – Hourglass and Quilt Match Up – Cash vs. Stash (2016 Independent Publishers Living Now Book Awards) and a sixth coming in the early spring of 2019 with Landauer Publications.  She just recently signed on with Northcott Silk fabrics to design several collections of batiks.  Linda is an EQ Artist and also a Bernina Artisan.

Her next book is scheduled for an early 2019 release – New York Beauty ELECTRIFIED - with Landauer Publications.

Linda’s work has been seen in many of your favorite quilting magazines including American Quilter, Love of Quilting, Traditional Quilter and others.  She was named the 2009 National Quilting Association Certified Teacher of the Year and the 2009 State Quilt Guild of New Jersey All Star Quilter.  She served for several years as President of the Quilt Professionals Network.

When she is not quilting, she loves to cruise and read CIA/Black Ops thrillers.  Linda is a licensed Zumba instructor and holds several Zumba specialty licenses.

Linda has been using EQ since EQ4!  She really loves all the updates in EQ8 and the ease of being able to swap fabrics and blocks.  She also loves the surprises you get using the Symmetry tool!

She will be teaching on several upcoming quilting cruises with World of Quilts Travel.
