EQ Mini may be a smaller version of EQ7, but it still comes jam packed with all kinds of blocks, 300 to be exact.  I thought you might like to see what blocks come with the program.  There are so many, this block party will just share the first category of Classic Pieced Blocks.

To follow along with me, Open up EQ Mini. Go to Libraries, Block Libraries.

If you are considering buying EQ Mini, just come along for the ride as I share the block designs.

When you go into the Block Libraries, you will see a long list of different categories of blocks.  This block party will share just the blocks in the first category, 01 Classic Pieced.

There are 11 subcategories under the 01 Classic Pieced blocks.  The first one is Antique Mosaics which is displayed above.  Each subcategory has 9 to 12 blocks.  Lets see what creative blocks we can find in each of the 11 subcategories.

Baskets with all kinds of styles and beautiful flowers.

Classics includes all of these including Log cabin and Ohio Star.

Drunkards Path with lots of curvy goodness.

Eight Pointed Stars, so pretty!  Lets party on!

Five Patch blocks, lots of variations for the perfect creation.

Four Patch blocks including Broken dishes and Pinwheel.  I love the spools.

Four X blocks, X certainly marks the spot for these crafty blocks.

Nine Patch including traditional nine patch, double nine patch, Monkey Wrench and Card Trick.  Oh the possibilities.

This final subcategory is pictures and includes a sailboat, airplane, maple leave, pine tree and even house blocks.

That is the end of the party with a terrific parade of blocks.  I hope you found a few that you can’t wait to try and use in a quilty design.  I hope this party gave you a good idea of the variety and number of built in blocks that come with EQ Mini.  In coming months I will continue to have block parties and share a few more of the block categories and the huge selection of options open to you that are included with EQ Mini.
