Quilt made for my great nephew William aged 10.
Creeper is from computer game “minecraft” and is to be avoided at all cost.
Creeper is 6″ 16 patch blocks. He is surronded by 6″ plain, embroidered and appliqued blocks representing objects from the game – food, protective clothing, tools etc..
Tumbling blocks show minerals that are mined as part of the game – to make clothes, tools etc..

William is currently the envy of all 3 of my grandchildren (and I must confess myself), who all play Minecraft. I have taken screen shots of the creeper with the intention of designing a quilt with him as the centrepiece. I love that you have put the various block types down the side, I hadn’t thought to do that. In short, creeperlicious!

I bet William was one happy little boy! That is a really fun quilt, and I am sure that he is the envy of his friends.
