The reason I’m sharing this with EQ is because the quilt was designed in response to an EQ challenge last year focusing on the Ohio Star block. I scanned fabrics I already owned into EQ7 and used them to design the quilt. Attached are the EQ mockup, a flat photo of the quilt, and also a PDF of the March cover. The quilt was longarm quilted by Rebecca Segura of Zeffie’s Quilts.
The pattern and complete instructions for Tapenade are in the march issue of American Quilter, which will arrive in AQS members’ mailboxes around the end of January and on newsstand by Feb. 16th.

What a awesome quilt. Took me a while to see how it was assembled. Do you design the quilt before you scan the fabrics?

I love the fabrics that were used in this quilt. Can you list what fabrics you used?
Thank you

Wow! I can’t get over how closely your “real” quilt matches your virtual quilt. I just got EQ7 and look forward to being able to scan my own fabric into the program. That makes a huge difference. I love traditional quilts and Ohio Stars so this really grabbed me. Congrats on your cover!
