The quilt is made from just one basic block, but I enjoyed playing with color and value to create the illusion of depth, so I call it “Skyscrapers.” I so appreciated the many handmade baby quilts and blankets I received when I had my first son that I got into quilting myself. I’m largely self-taught and still have a lot to learn, but I’m enjoying the process. I made this quilt for friends who didn’t know if they were having a boy or a girl, so I decided to use bold, vibrant colors. For a quilt that actually has very few pieces and was quick and easy to make, I’m pleased with the results!
Thanks for a great product!
