I take great satisfaction in using up perfectly good scraps and making do with my stash. Here I stitched little scraps onto phonebook paper to make long narrow strips, then used them as logs in wonky log cabins. The gray-white frames help the “rings” to float against the blue background. EQ8 helped me plan out how to set the odd-sized blocks with irregular sashings to build each row.
