An original pinwheel block is skewed into the diamonds of a star layout from the Layout Library. These blocks literally ended up in the garbage when I was starting to think this was an ‘unsewable’ design. I took them out for one more try, and the result of that perseverance is what you see here. This is one of my few designs in which I actually designed part of the quilting in EQ as well, using Wreathmaker.
