This is a Prayer Quilt for my friend who had a stroke. She is paralyzed on the left side. She is very discouraged. It was hard to call her at first. I was at our prayer Chapel and decided to call her and tell her about it. Then when I asked her if she wanted a Prayer Quilt and what she wanted on it, she said, “The Prayer Chapel, an American Flag and 3 Crucifixes” The colors she requested were blue and
green. I used the Ohio Star from EQ, because we are both from Ohio.
The Prayer Chapel is the smallest in NC. Its sits on 93 acres of trails, prayer stations and a labyrinth.
The Quilt is hand quilted in middle, machine quilted on border and tied with prayers from our Church congregation, my quilt groups and friends.
