The quilt was designed and pieced by Maggie Groggel, Grand Rapids, Michigan and quilted by Beth VanderWal, Grand Rapids, Michigan.
My in-laws moved into a brand new retirement home last year. They have a narrow wall in their living room that has a circuit breaker panel that is somewhat unsightly. I immediately suggested a quilt hanging to cover the panel. Deciding on a block that would be long enough without being too wide was a challenge until I thought to create the extra border on the top and bottom. I designed the quilt in EQ, scanned the fabrics into EQ and paper pieced the project.
