I started collecting scraps of Japanese Yukata about 2003 to make a Hexagon Quilt. I used EQ7 to decide on size and the flow of the value. I divided my scraps into 7 different values (almost white to very dark indigo). After I started English paper piecing, I was able to use the EQ picture to help keep straight where which piece went while carrying the pieces around. I still need to quilt it.
