I made this quilt for a young man graduating high school that loves cats. I chose to do rainbow colors in part because his sisters quilt had rainbow colors and because I was trying to use up my 2 1/2 in. blocks. I still have lots of 2 1/2 in. blocks even after finishing this quilt! Are used EQ to help me know how many blocks to do for the size and then how much fabric to buy for the border it made my life a lot easier!
